In diesem Workshop gibt Anastasia ihre langjährige Erfahrung im Kunstharzgiessen an Euch weiter und leitet Euch an\, wie ihr einen Beistelltisch veredelt und personalisiert. Ein Tisch\, hochwertiger MasterCast Kunstharz\, Pigmente und alles was sonst noch benötig wird ist im Ticketpreis inbegriffen. \nInfo zum Tisch: Der Tisch hat eine Höhe von 49.5 cm und die Platte einen Durchmesser von ca. 38 cm und entspricht der Abbildung oben. DESCRIPTION:“Go with the flow” – FLUID PAINTING WORKSHOP\n  \nAlso known as acrylic pouring\, paint pouring\, flow art\, liquid art.etc \nIt is a form of abstract art that uses acrylic paints with a runny (fluid) consistency. The acrylic paints react with each other when combined together  to make interesting and visually organic motifs. Fluid acrylics can be used on many types of substrates and in many different forms such as pouring\, dripping\, swirling\,  and many other effects. Fluid art opens up a lot of possibilities and is definitely worth exploring.\nFree-flowing liquid paints and mediums are at the heart of the pouring process. Adjusting the viscosity and flow rate to work in tandem with how you want the paints to interact with each other is key.\n​In this course I will teach you : \n  \n\nSupplies you need to start Fluid Painting\nWorkplace / preparation\nDifferent Pouring Mediums (additives for good flow characteristics)\nUse of silicone – mixing technique and impact\nPaint Consistency \nPaint Transparency (opacity of the paints / effects)\nChoosing the right colors\nDifferent techniques (12 ) that I use like: dirty pour\, flip cup\, string\, swipe technique and more. In this Workshop\, Ana will show you 3 techniques: Flower Pour\, Swirl Pour\, Chain Pulling. Learn more about all the different techniques HERE.\nTips On Drying\nVarnishing your artwork\n\nWhat is special about this workshop is not just the fun of playing with high flow acrylic paint\, it’s learning how to work with different mediums and weave more art into your life. My techniques and exercises are geared to helping people reclaim or expand their sense of experimentation\, wonder\, and fun. You’ll see how making art regularly will help keep your creative juices flowing. \n  \nThis is not a typical “guided event”. There will be no step-by-step instructions for a particular painting. DESCRIPTION:— English — \nEnjoy a Fun and Colorful Evening in Zurich!\nCreativity Workshop is a painting workshop series to introduce the basic techniques of Modern Abstract Painting. Abstract painting is a wonderful gateway for satisfying artistic expression. You can work with colors\, dots\, lines\, shapes and textures and create a personal visual rhythm in a painting but you can also feel free and work in the intuitive way\, gestural\, you also can explore all different kinds of techniques. \nThe workshop series include four sections: Grisaille\, Layering\, Blending and Sgraffito \, at each section you will learn a specific technique which will help you to achieve a new level for your abstract learning process …… on every second Monday\, Rolando\, our friend\, host and artist from Cuba is looking forward to assist you to enjoy this new creative experience. You don’t necessarily need to participate the workshops in sequence. Every workshop is an individual section. \nAbout Today’s workshop – Layering  \nLayering is a system for creating artistic paintings that involve the use of more than one coat of paint.\nTo capture rich depth and atmosphere in paintings\, it is common to use layering techniques\, applying one layer over another\, until the desired effect is achieved. The process of layering while painting makes it easy to add surface texture\, subtle color changes\, and tangible depth. \nThis event is limited to a maximum of 10 people per session to ensure a calm atmosphere and optimal guidance. \nFind more about Rolando’s work here. \nPlease note: This is not a typical “guided event”. DESCRIPTION:Acrylics & Mixed Media \nThis workshop is a masterclass where you can learn so much about how to create balance through composition\, color’s value\, marks and textures so at the end you achieve  a harmonious painting.  \nDo you want to paint in an abstract style but haven’t got a clue how to begin? Where can you find ideas for great composition?    \nAna Paz will guide you through creating an abstract painting from beginning to end. \nWe will start with simple shapes and colors but slowly we will build up layers where washes of overlapping transparencies and intersections of color will create new and exciting hues. You can also choose to add a discrete touch of golden leaf. \n  \nWhat you’ll learn \n\nHow to create different shapes with a beautiful texture\nBuilding up layers so you can create depth \nHow to create depth using light and shadows\nDifferent mixed media techniques so you can fill up your shapes with interesting marks\nHow to play with the transparency in order to achieve a 3D effect\nHow to create different textures so your painting looks rich but not overwhelming\nHow to choose the perfect color combination so you have a nice\, balanced contrast \nHow and where to add golden leaf\n\n• No Prior Painting Experience Necessary. If it’s your very first time painting\, you might wanna calculate a bit more time to finish the painting. Mit dem neuen Studio an der Limmatstrasse 73 ist es jetzt endlich so weit. Dort haben wir einen ganzen Bereich des Ateliers dem Action Painting gewidmet\, in dem Ihr Euch sorglos mit Pinseln\, Spritzpistolen und weiteren Utensilien austoben könnt. Unsere Künstlerin Shima startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n • Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Inklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). Dennoch empfehlen wir Euch\, nicht in Eurer feinsten Kleidung zu kommen. \n• Bitte bringt ein Paar alte Socken oder nehmt in Kauf\, dass Eure Socken etwas farbig werden. \n• Inklusivmaterial: 1 Stk. 30x40cm Leinwand zum Üben. 1 Stk. 40x50cm Leinwand. Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\nWe have been wanting to offer you this workshop for quite some time now. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist Shima will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n • The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing. \n• Please bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored. \n•  Included materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. SUMMARY:KOSMIC Alcohol Ink Workshop
DESCRIPTION:This class will be held by Anastasia instead of Janka. \nDieser Termin wird abweichend von Anastasia geleitet. \n— Deutsch — \nDie Künstlerin Janka Stemmle zeigt am KOSMIC Workshop wie mit Tinte und Alkohol auf YUPO\, einem aus Plastik recycelten synthetischen Papier\, gemalt werden kann. Tinte reagiert auf diesem ebenen und wasserdichten Papier ganz speziell auf Sprit\, der aus 90% Alkohol besteht. Dieser Vorgang führt zu erstaunlichen Ergebnissen. Genauer zersetzt der Alkohol die Tinte bis in die Pigmente hinein\, wodurch neue Farbnuancen in ein und derselben Farbe auftauchen können. Die flüssige Tinte gemischt mit Alkohol wird durch Wärme und Luft mit einem Föhn oder einem Strohhalm auf der Oberfläche bewegt bis sie ganz getrocknet ist. Dabei entstehen wunderschön leuchtende und etwas durchscheinende Farbschichten. Dieser Vorgang kann kontinuierlich wiederholt werden\, bis die Komposition stimmig wird. Die Oberfläche wird gelegentlich mit reinem Alkohol besprenkelt\, wodurch Formgebungen entstehen\, die an den Kosmos erinnern.  \nDies ist nicht ein klassischer PaintEvent für ein bestimmtes Bild mit Schritt für Schritt Anweisungen. Stattdessen wird Janka diese Technik so erklären\, dass Sie drei eigene Bilder auf YUPO kreieren können und sich vor allem während diesem wunderbaren Prozess entspannen und inspirieren lassen können. \n • Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Alle Materialien werden von uns bereitgestellt und sind im Preis inbegriffen \n• Am Schluss hast du 4 Kunstwerke (jeweils bis A4 Grösse) auf Spezialpapier \n• Neu: Wir bieten Schachteln an\, mit denen die Bilder direkt mit nach Hause genommen werden können. Ink reacts on this even and waterproof paper very fascinating to spirit that consists of 90% alcohol. This process leads to astonishing results. More specifically the alcohol decomposes the ink within the pigments\, allowing new shades of color to appear within the same color. The liquid ink mixed with alcohol is being moved by heat and air with a hair dryer or a straw on the surface until it becomes completely dry. This creates beautifully luminous and slightly translucent layers of paint. This procedure can be repeated continuously until the composition becomes harmonious for you. The surface is occasionally sprinkled with pure alcohol creating shapes reminding of the cosmos.  \nThis is not a classical PaintEvent for a particular painting with step by step instructions. Instead\, Janka will explain this technique so you can create your own three unique paintings on YUPO and above all relax and be inspired during this beautiful process. \n• No prior Painting experience necessary \n• All Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price. \n• You will have 4 art pieces on special paper for alcohol ink (each up to A4 size). \n• New: We will provide boxes to take your paintings home right away. DESCRIPTION:— Deutsch — \n  \nDie Künstlerin Angelika zeigt in ihrem STRUCTURES Workshop\, wie sie mit verschiedensten Strukturpasten und Salz auf Leinwand malt. Sie zeigt vor\, wie die Strukturpasten und das Salz mit Acrylfarbe und Tinte eingefärbt werden und mit dem Spachtel in den zuvor gemalten Farbverlauf hinein gearbeitet werden. Die verschiedensten Strukturen; trocken bis flüssig\, fein bis grobkörnig\, matt bis glänzend\, bieten alle eine zusätzliche faszinierende\, haptische und etwas dreidimensionale Ebene zur Farbkomposition und Formgebung. Bei der abstrakten Malerei spielt die eigene Farbpalette eine wichtige Rolle und wird hier in der seriellen Arbeitsweise auf zwei Leinwänden von der Künstlerin angeleitet\, individuell erarbeitet. Eingefärbte Struktur-Schichten werden solange hinzugefügt\, bis die Kompositionen stimmig werden. Die Werke können schlussendlich an etwas ganz Natürliches wie zum Beispiel Gesteine in den Gebirgen oder an Rost-Effekte erinnern\, bleiben aber natürlich ein sehr offenes abstraktes Bild.  \nDies ist kein klassischer PaintEvent für ein bestimmtes Bild mit Schritt für Schritt Anweisungen. She demonstrates how the structural pastes and salt are colored with acrylic paint and ink and added with the spatula into the previously painted color gradient. The wide variety of textures possible; dry to liquid\, fine to coarse grained\, matte to glossy\, all offer an additional fascinating\, tactile and  a bit three-dimensional layer to the color composition and shaping. In abstract painting\, one’s own color palette plays an important role and is here individually focused on in the serial way of working on two canvases guided by the artist. Colored structure layers are added until the compositions become coherent. The works can finally remind of something very natural such as rocks in the mountains or rust effects\, but of course they remain open abstract paintings.  \nThis is not a classic PaintEvent for a specific motive with step by step instructions. Unsere Künstlerin Eliza startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n • Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Inklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n • The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles).
