DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n— English — \nEnjoy a Fun and Colorful Evening in Zurich!\nCreativity Workshop is a painting workshop series to introduce the basic techniques of Modern Abstract Painting. Abstract painting is a wonderful gateway for satisfying artistic expression. You can work with colors\, dots\, lines\, shapes and textures and create a personal visual rhythm in a painting but you can also feel free and work in the intuitive way\, gestural\, you also can explore all different kinds of techniques. \nThe workshop series include six sections: Grisaille\, Layering\, Blending\, Sgraffito\, Stippling and Wet on Wet\, at each section you will learn a specific technique which will help you to achieve a new level for your abstract learning process …… on every second Monday\, Rolando\, our friend\, host and artist from Cuba is looking forward to assist you to enjoy this new creative experience.You don’t necessarily need to participate the workshops in sequence. Every workshop is an individual section. \nAbout Today’s workshop – Wet on Wet \nWet on Wet technique is used for blending work. Essentially you’ll add your paint color on canvas\, and while it is still wet you can add another color\, and blend them together while they are workable and wet on canvas. Working the blends on canvas while both paint colors are still wet allows you to get smooth blends and gradients. \nFind more about Rolando’s work here. \nPlease note: This is not a typical “guided event”. There will be no step-by-step instructions for a particular painting. Instead\, Rolando will show you techniques and tricks and encourage you to paint intuitively and freely. Erlebe beim Action Painting eine befreiende und kreative Auszeit\nWir haben einen ganzen Bereich des Ateliers dem Action Painting gewidmet\, in dem Ihr Euch sorglos mit Pinseln\, Spritzpistolen und weiteren Utensilien austoben könnt. Unsere Künstlerin Eliza startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n • Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt\n Inklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). Dennoch empfehlen wir Euch\, nicht in Eurer feinsten Kleidung zu kommen. \n• Bitte bringt ein Paar alte Socken oder nehmt in Kauf\, dass Eure Socken etwas farbig werden. \n• Inklusivmaterial: 1 Stk. 30x40cm Leinwand zum Üben. 1 Stk. 40x50cm Leinwand. Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\nAt this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist Eliza will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n • The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Bei einem PaintEvent erstellst du mit der Unterstützung von lokalen Künstlern dein eigenes Kunstwerk\, das du am Ende des Abends mit nach Hause nimmst. Im Vordergrund stehen Entspannung\, die Freude am Malen und die Entfaltung deiner Kreativität. \nZum Workshop: \nSchon mit Strukturpasten gearbeitet? Ein tolles und spannendes Medium\, das dein Bild sofort interessanter macht. Die Elemente der Kunst sind Linie\, Form\, Komposition\, Raum\, Farbe und TEXTUR. Das letzte wird mit der Strukturpaste erzielt. \nIn diesem Kurs zeigt Angelika dir\, wie man die Pasten aufträgt\, mit Spachtel\, Messer oder Pinsel. Welche verschiedenen Strukturpasten es gibt\, feine oder grobe Körnung\, Pumice oder Pasten mit Glasteilchen. Alles was dein Herz begehrt. Und wie du die Acrylfarbe oder auch Wasserfarbe auf die getrocknete Masse aufragen kannst. \nViel kreatives Vergnügen! \nWichtig: Es handelt sich NICHT um eine Schritt-für-Schritt-Anleitung\, wir führen in die Techniken dieser abstrakten Kunst ein\, aber es gibt keine Garantie\, dass das Ergebnis genau wie das Titelbild sein wird. \n • Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Wenn jemand Anfänger ist\, werden wir das Event mit eine kurze Einführung über Acrylmalerei starten! \n• 2 Leinwänder (30x40cm\, 20x20cm) und alle Materialien werden von uns bereitgestellt und sind im Preis inbegriffen \n• Material: Strukturpaste und hochwertige Acrylfarben von Fleury-Art.ch \n• Bitte beachte: eine von den zwei Leinwänder muss über Nacht in der PaintLounge zum trocknen bleiben. The goal is to create a fun and stress-free environment for you to slow down and let your creativity flow. \nAbout this workshop: \nHave you ever worked with gel and modeling paste? These structural pastes are a wonderful and exciting medium to make your painting more interesting. The element of arts are line\, shape\, form\, space \, color and TEXTURE. The structural paste will give you immediately texture. \nIn this class\, Angelika shows how to work with this medium. Spatula\, knife and paintbrush are the tools and there are different kind of pastes like pumice\, soft gel\, Glas bead gel etc. After you apply this wonderful medium \,you paint with acrylic or even watercolor over it. Enjoy your creativity! \nImportant: This is NOT a step by step guided event\, we would introduce the techniques related to this abstract art\, but there is no guarantee the result will be exactly like the cover painting. \n • No Prior Painting Experience Necessary \n• If there are any beginners\, we will start the event with a short introduction about acrylic painting! \n• 2 Canvas (30x40cm; 20x20cm) and all Painting Materials provided and included in the Ticket Price \n• Please note that one of the canvases needs to stay at PaintLounge overnight to dry. The goal is to create a fun and stress-free environment for you to slow down and let your creativity flow. \nAbout the Painting: \nThe transparency of watercolor is a magical character which is not available in other pigments. Our workshop is to use this character to create a superimposed effect\, forming abundant layers\, making the painting light and elegant without a decorous feeling. With a little bit skill and time\, the beauty and softness of the object will be fully showed as your own artwork. \nOlivia creates traditional Chinese art with western medium and techniques. Find out more about her artworks here. \n • No Prior Painting Experience Necessary – We will offer you the option to trace the shapes and the composition\, but of course you’re welcome to draw everything freely before adding watercolors. DESCRIPTION:— Deutsch —(EN below) \n\nUnd… ACTION! Erlebe beim Action Painting eine befreiende und kreative Auszeit\nDiesen Workshop wollen wir Euch bereits seit geraumer Zeit anbieten. Mit dem neuen Studio an der Limmatstrasse 73 ist es jetzt endlich so weit. Dort haben wir einen ganzen Bereich des Ateliers dem Action Painting gewidmet\, in dem Ihr Euch sorglos mit Pinseln\, Spritzpistolen und weiteren Utensilien austoben könnt. Unsere Künstlerin Shima startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n • Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Inklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). Dennoch empfehlen wir Euch\, nicht in Eurer feinsten Kleidung zu kommen. \n• Bitte bringt ein Paar alte Socken oder nehmt in Kauf\, dass Eure Socken etwas farbig werden.\n Inklusivmaterial: 1 Stk. 30x40cm Leinwand zum Üben. 1 Stk. 40x50cm Leinwand. Alle Farben und Utensilien. \n• Upgrade-Optionen: Du möchtest anstatt der 40x50cm Leinwand ein grösseres Werk erstellen? Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\nWe have been wanting to offer you this workshop for quite some time now. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist Shima will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n • The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing. \n• Please bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored. \n• Included materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. DESCRIPTION:— English — \nEnjoy a Fun and Colorful Evening in Zurich!\nCreativity Workshop is a painting workshop series to introduce the basic techniques of Modern Abstract Painting. Abstract painting is a wonderful gateway for satisfying artistic expression. You can work with colors\, dots\, lines\, shapes and textures and create a personal visual rhythm in a painting but you can also feel free and work in the intuitive way\, gestural\, you also can explore all different kinds of techniques. \nThe workshop series include four sections: Grisaille\, Layering\, Blending and Sgraffito \, at each section you will learn a specific technique which will help you to achieve a new level for your abstract learning process …… on every second Monday\, Rolando\, our friend\, host and artist from Cuba is looking forward to assist you to enjoy this new creative experience.You don’t necessarily need to participate the workshops in sequence. Every workshop is an individual section. \nAbout Today’s workshop – Grisaille  \nGrisaille underpainting is a painting technique in which a composition is constructed completely in tones of grey. It is often used for underpainting\, since it establishes light values underneath transparent glazes. There are multiple approaches to making an underpainting. A Grisaille is the simplest form\, done with just black and white. Other forms include Verdaccio (done with shades of green)\, Brunaille (shades of brown). Using a grisaille makes it easy to have true darks in your painting. \nThis event is limited to a maximum of 10 people per session to ensure a calm atmosphere and optimal guidance. \nFind more about Rolando’s work here. \nPlease note: This is not a typical “guided event”. There will be no step-by-step instructions for a particular painting. Instead\, Rolando will show you techniques and tricks and encourage you to paint intuitively and freely. SUMMARY:Resin Workshop: Beach in Oceanside (Special Version)
DESCRIPTION:  \n— Deutsch — \n\nDieser Workshop ist ein Hands-On Schnupperkurs und der perfekte Einstieg in die “Resin Kunst”. In diesem Workshop wird unsere Künstlerin Anastasia Euch die grundlegenden Techniken zeigen und Euch Schritt für Schritt anleiten\, wir Ihr Schicht für Schicht einen Strand kreiert. Es werden mehrere Schichten von Harz in verschiedenen Blautönen gegossen werden und anschliessend wird mit einer weissen Schicht abgeschlossen. Diese Schicht manipuliert Ihr dann mit Luft und Schwerkraft bis Sie an Meeresschaum erinnert. Dieses Beach-Motiv eignet sich perfekt\, um Resin-Kunst zu entdecken: Die Klarheit\, Konsistenz und der Glanz von Resin geben das Aussehen von Wasser auf eine Weise wieder\, die man mit keinem anderen Medium erreichen kann. Anastasia wird Euch zeigen\, wie einfach es ist\, Eure eigene atemberaubende Ozean-Landschaft zu erschaffen. \n* Wenn Ihr lieber etwas Abstrakteres kreieren möchtet\, schaut Euch bitte den LUCENT-Workshop der Künstlerin Janka Stemmle in unserem Veranstaltungskalender an. Wir empfehlen Euch bei Interesse auch beide Kurse zu besuchen\, da unterschiedliche Techniken und Materialien gezeigt werden. \n\n\n\n\n• Perfekt für Anfänger: Keine vorherige Erfahrung mit Resin notwendig. \n• Alle Materialien werden gestellt und sind im Ticketpreis enthalten. \n• Material: 1 runde Korkplatte (15cm Durchmesser)\, 1 Holzleinwand (20cm Durchmesser) und MasterCast Resin von EliChem (ungiftig und frei von Lösungsmitteln für eine einfache und sichere Anwendung\, auch in unserem Online Shop erhältlich)\, verschiedene Farbpigmente. \n• Wichtig: Um eine optimale Trocknung ohne Verfliessen zu garantieren\, empfehlen wir\, dass Ihr die Werke über Nacht bei uns im Atelier lasst und später abholen kommt. Alternativ bieten wir auch Verpackung und Versand für einen Aufpreis von 15 CHF pro Sendung an (zahlbar bar oder TWINT vor Ort). Falls ihr Eure Werke direkt nach dem Event mitnehmen wollt\, geht das selbstverständlich auch aber “auf eigene Gefahr” (müssen einfach so horizontal wie möglich bleiben). \n• Gut zu wissen: Bei der Arbeit mit Kunstharz  sind immer Plastikhandschuhe erforderlich\, um die Hände zu schützen (stellen wir bereit). Wir stellen auch Schürzen zur Verfügung\, empfehlen Euch aber dennoch lieber ältere Kleidung anzuziehen. Der Raum ist während der Arbeit mit Harz immer gut belüftet. Eine spezielle Atemmaske ist bei diesem Workshop aufgrund der geringen Menge an Resin\, unserem sehr geräumigen Atelier und der begrenzten Teilnehmerzahl nicht erforderlich. Obwohl unser Resin zertifiziert ungiftig ist\, raten wir schwangeren Frauen vorsichtshalber von der Teilnahme ab. \n• Sprache der Unterweisung: Deutsch & Englisch \n• Dauer der Veranstaltung: ca. 2h \nWir beginnen pünktlich um 19 Uhr\, bitte kommt ein paar Minuten vorher. At this workshop our artist Anastasia will show you the basic techniques to create a beautiful realistic beach art. It is an easy process that involves pouring layers of resin in various shades of blue\, then finishing with a layer of white that gets pushed around by air and gravity to create a lacing effect reminiscent of sea foam. Resin is essential to creating realistic ocean art: it is clarity\, consistency and gloss replicate the look of water in a way you simply can’t get with any other medium. Anastasia will demonstrate how easy it is to create your own stunning ocean art\, specially for beginners. \n• No prior experience with resin necessary \n• All Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price. \n• Material: 1 Round Cork Plates (15cm diameter) and One Wooden Canvas (20cm diameter)\,  MasterCast Resin by EliChem (non-toxic free from solvents for easy and safe application\, also available in our Online Shop)\, different color pigments. \n• Important: For optimal drying process and avoiding any changes to your painting\, we recommend that you leave your artwork in the studio at least overnight and pick it up at later. Alternatively we can also pack it and ship it to you for an additional 15 CHF per parcel (payable at the workshop in cash or TWINT). If you want to take your artwork home right away\, that’s definitely also possible but “at your own risk” (needs to be transported as horizontal as possible). \n• Good to know: Plastic gloves are always needed when working with resin from measuring to finished paintings to protect hands. The room is always well ventilated while working with resin. A special breathing mask is not needed at this workshop based on the small amount of resin used in our very spacious studio and the limited participant number. Unsere Künstlerin Eliza startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n  \n • Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Inklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\n  \nAt this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist Eliza will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n• The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles).
