Unsere Künstlerin startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n  \n • Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Inklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\nWe have been wanting to offer you this workshop for quite some time now. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n • The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing. \n• Please bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored. \n•  Included materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. All paints and utensils. \n• Upgrade Options: Want to create larger artworks or additional ones? Check out our UPGRADE pricelist for action painting. In fact\, the hardest part of the day will be choosing which of these many textures to choose\, but don’t worry – we will be there\, every step of the way ! \nIndulge your artistic desires with our mesmerizing Resin Geode Art Workshop. Fun\, fabulous and totally addictive\, you’ll make 2 pieces of agate inspired wall art with us and\, what’s more\, it’s perfect for beginners and those looking to explore adding texture to their resin art. \nWonderfully therapeutic and oh so much fun\, our resin geode workshop offers a creative opportunity for all to create abstract pieces of art topped with handfuls of luscious textures. \nYou have the option of taking your masterpieces home with you or we can package and ship them to you a few days later. \n  \nWhat you will learn:\n  \n\nCreate stunning geode art using a variety of dynamic pouring techniques\nMeasure\, mix and add colour to your resin\nCreate uniformed free pours\nManipulate the resin to create different visual effects\, including using floating metal techniques\nEncourage pigment interactions such as cell formation\nAdd oodles of embellishments such as crustal chippings\, nuggets and flakes\nAchieve a perfect finish\, removing any bubbles that appear\nUse tips\, trade secrets and techniques\nMake use of leftover resin\n\n  \n• No Prior Painting Experience Necessary. If it’s your very first time painting\, you might wanna calculate a bit more time to finish the painting. Also\, we recommend to skip a detail or two and/or call for assistance when you need! \n• Step by Step Instructions\, but you are always welcome to paint something else! \n• 2 wooden boards (23x23cm\, 0.5cm thick) and all Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price \n• Medium: Premium alcohol ink and resin materials . \n• Language of Instruction: English \n• Duration of the Event: ca 3hrs \n• Good to know: Plastic gloves are always needed when working with resin from measuring to finished paintings to protect hands. The room is always well ventilated while working with resin. A special breathing mask is not needed at this workshop based on the small amount of resin used in our very spacious studio and the limited participant number. Although the resin we use is certified non-toxic\, out of extra caution\, we advise pregnant women\, children\, and individuals with sensitive airways or asthma to refrain from participating. \n  \nImportant: For optimal drying process and avoiding any changes to your painting\, we recommend that you leave your artwork in the studio at least overnight and pick it up at later. Alternatively you can also use our shipping service. If you want to take your artwork home right away\, that’s definitely also possible but “at your own risk” (needs to be transported as horizontal as possible). \n  \nPlease note: This event will take place only if at least 5 people sign up 48hrs before the event. The goal is to create a fun and stress-free environment for you to slow down and let your creativity flow. \n  \nAbout the workshop:\nWe are more than happy to welcome Alena to be our new guest host for this special watercolor event. Together we will paint this beautiful painting using wet on wet technique. The process is broken down into easy steps. The wet paint is laid on wet or damp paper\, the colours flow and blend into one another in beautiful\, unexpected ways\, creating a diffused effect. Let your creativity flow! \n  \n\n No Prior Painting Experience Necessary – Step by Step Guidance through the whole process.\nFrist time or frequent painters – all kind of questions are more than welcome! At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). SUMMARY:Alcohol Ink Workshop: Crash of Colors
DESCRIPTION:  \n— Deutsch — \n  \nUnsere Künstlerin zeigt am Workshop wie mit Tinte und Alkohol auf YUPO\, einem aus Plastik recycelten synthetischen Papier\, gemalt werden kann. Tinte reagiert auf diesem ebenen und wasserdichten Papier ganz speziell auf Sprit\, der aus 90% Alkohol besteht. Dieser Vorgang führt zu erstaunlichen Ergebnissen. Genauer zersetzt der Alkohol die Tinte bis in die Pigmente hinein\, wodurch neue Farbnuancen in ein und derselben Farbe auftauchen können. Die flüssige Tinte gemischt mit Alkohol wird durch Wärme und Luft mit einem Föhn oder einem Strohhalm auf der Oberfläche bewegt bis sie ganz getrocknet ist. Dabei entstehen wunderschön leuchtende und etwas durchscheinende Farbschichten. Dieser Vorgang kann kontinuierlich wiederholt werden\, bis die Komposition stimmig wird. Die Oberfläche wird gelegentlich mit reinem Alkohol besprenkelt\, wodurch Formgebungen entstehen\, die an den Kosmos erinnern. \n  \nDies ist nicht ein klassischer PaintEvent für ein bestimmtes Bild mit Schritt für Schritt Anweisungen. Stattdessen wird unsere Kunstlerin diese Technik so erklären\, dass Sie drei eigene Bilder auf YUPO kreieren können und sich vor allem während diesem wunderbaren Prozess entspannen und inspirieren lassen können. \n  \n • Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Alle Materialien werden von uns bereitgestellt und sind im Preis inbegriffen \n• Am Schluss hast du 4 Kunstwerke (jeweils bis A4 Grösse) auf Spezialpapier \n• Neu: Wir bieten Schachteln an\, mit denen die Bilder direkt mit nach Hause genommen werden können. Diese müssen horizontal transportiert werden\, können aber ohne Probleme mit in den ÖV genommen werden (vergleichbar mit 2 Pizza-Schachteln). \n• Zusätzliches Material kann vor Ort bezogen werden (3-10CHF) \n• Material: Verschiedenste Alkoholhaltige Tinten auf Spezialpapier \n• Wichtig: Obwohl wir nur hochwertige und zertifizierte Künstler-Tinten verwenden\, entstehen beim Arbeiten mit Alkoholtinten gewisse Dämpfe im Raum. Im Falle einer Absage werden die Gäste mit einem Ticket per Mail informiert und das Ticket wird nach Wunsch entweder umgebucht oder komplett zurückerstattet. \n  \n— English — \n  \nAt the KOSMIC Workshop the artist Anastasia  will show you how to paint with ink and alcohol on YUPO\, a synthetic paper recycled from plastic. Ink reacts on this even and waterproof paper very fascinating to spirit that consists of 90% alcohol. This process leads to astonishing results. More specifically the alcohol decomposes the ink within the pigments\, allowing new shades of color to appear within the same color. The liquid ink mixed with alcohol is being moved by heat and air with a hair dryer or a straw on the surface until it becomes completely dry. This creates beautifully luminous and slightly translucent layers of paint. This procedure can be repeated continuously until the composition becomes harmonious for you. The surface is occasionally sprinkled with pure alcohol creating shapes reminding of the cosmos. \n  \nThis is not a classical PaintEvent for a particular painting with step by step instructions. Instead\, Anastasia a will explain this technique so you can create your own three unique paintings on YUPO and above all relax and be inspired during this beautiful process. \n  \n• No prior Painting experience necessary \n• All Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price. \n• You will have 4 art pieces on special paper for alcohol ink (each up to A4 size). \n• New: We will provide boxes to take your paintings home right away. Es werden mehrere Schichten von Harz in verschiedenen Farben gegossen werden\, die zusammen einen wunderschönen Regenbogen-Effekt erzeugen. Zum Abschluss wird mit einer weissen Schicht gearbeitet\, die Ihr dann mit Luft und Schwerkraft manipuliert\, bis sie an Meeresschaum erinnert. \nDieses farbenfrohe Ozean-Motiv eignet sich perfekt\, um Resin-Kunst zu entdecken: Die Klarheit\, Konsistenz und der Glanz von Resin geben das Aussehen von Wasser auf eine Weise wieder\, die man mit keinem anderen Medium erreichen kann. Several layers of resin in different colors will be poured to create a beautiful rainbow effect. Finally\, a white layer will be added\, which you will manipulate with air and gravity until it resembles sea foam. \nThis colorful ocean motif is perfect for discovering resin art: the clarity\, consistency\, and shine of resin replicate the look of water in a way that no other medium can achieve. Our artist will show you how easy it is to create your own stunning rainbow ocean landscape\, specially for beginners. \n  \n• No prior experience with resin necessary \n• All Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price. \n• Material: One Wooden board (25cm diameter)\,  MasterCast Resin by EliChem (non-toxic free from solvents for easy and safe application\, also available in our Online Shop)\, different color pigments. \n• Important: For optimal drying process and avoiding any changes to your painting\, we recommend that you leave your artwork in the studio at least overnight and pick it up at later. At this workshop our artist Anastasia will show you the basic techniques how to seal dry items or colors with resin. Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\nWe have been wanting to offer you this workshop for quite some time now. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n • The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing. \n• Please bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored. \n•  Included materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. Zudem erfordert das Material eine gewisse Geschicklichkeit\, was die Teilnahme für jüngere Kinder ebenfalls erschwert. \nPlease note: Although we exclusively use high-quality artist products\, this course generates certain fumes in the room. For this reason\, the course is not suitable for pregnant women and children under the age of 15.Additionally\, handling the materials requires a certain level of skill\, which makes participation challenging for younger children. \n\n  \n— Deutsch — \n  \n\nDieser Workshop ist ein Hands-On Schnupperkurs und der perfekte Einstieg in die “Resin Kunst”. In diesem Workshop wird unsere Künstlerin Euch die grundlegenden Techniken zeigen und Euch Schritt für Schritt anleiten\, wir Ihr Schicht für Schicht einen Strand kreiert. Es werden mehrere Schichten von Harz in verschiedenen Blautönen gegossen werden und anschliessend wird mit einer weissen Schicht abgeschlossen. Diese Schicht manipuliert Ihr dann mit Luft und Schwerkraft bis Sie an Meeresschaum erinnert. Dieses Beach-Motiv eignet sich perfekt\, um Resin-Kunst zu entdecken: Die Klarheit\, Konsistenz und der Glanz von Resin geben das Aussehen von Wasser auf eine Weise wieder\, die man mit keinem anderen Medium erreichen kann. Unsere Künstlerin wird Euch zeigen\, wie einfach es ist\, Eure eigene atemberaubende Ozean-Landschaft zu erschaffen. \n  \n\n\n\n\n• Perfekt für Anfänger: Keine vorherige Erfahrung mit Resin notwendig. \n• Alle Materialien werden gestellt und sind im Ticketpreis enthalten. \n• Material:  1 Holzleinwand (25cm Durchmesser) und MasterCast Resin von EliChem (ungiftig und frei von Lösungsmitteln für eine einfache und sichere Anwendung\, auch in unserem Online Shop erhältlich)\, verschiedene Farbpigmente. \n• Wichtig: Um eine optimale Trocknung ohne Verfliessen zu garantieren\, empfehlen wir\, dass Ihr die Werke über Nacht bei uns im Atelier lasst und später abholen kommt. At this workshop our artist  will show you the basic techniques to create a beautiful realistic beach art. It is an easy process that involves pouring layers of resin in various shades of blue\, then finishing with a layer of white that gets pushed around by air and gravity to create a lacing effect reminiscent of sea foam. Resin is essential to creating realistic ocean art: it is clarity\, consistency and gloss replicate the look of water in a way you simply can’t get with any other medium. Our artist will demonstrate how easy it is to create your own stunning ocean art\, specially for beginners. \n  \n• No prior experience with resin necessary \n• All Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price. \n• Material: One Wooden board (25cm diameter)\,  MasterCast Resin by EliChem (non-toxic free from solvents for easy and safe application\, also available in our Online Shop)\, different color pigments. \n• Important: For optimal drying process and avoiding any changes to your painting\, we recommend that you leave your artwork in the studio at least overnight and pick it up at later.
