Be mesmerised by the incredible effects created when resin and alcohol inks combine on ceramic tiles. You can create both pretty and practical pieces such as coasters. But be warned – it can be addictive!  You’ll love watching the inks react with the resin to make the intricate shapes and details. It’s a very relaxing process. \nOur class will cover the basics of the resin and alcohol ink techniques and inspire you to go on and create your own amazing mini artworks. Stare into the intricate details and it’s like the whole galaxy right there in your resin. Or like looking at life under the microscope. People really are fascinated by how these look\, and you will be too. \nEven if you’ve never used resin or alcohol inks before\, everything you need to know is covered in the class. It’s fun\, easy\, relaxing and rewarding. \n\nWhat you will learn:\n\nLearn how to create amazing 3d art pieces using resin and alcohol inks\nMake coasters or small art pieces so you can go create large and spectacular pieces with practice\nPlay with color\, have fun and learn to use new materials\nMake examples with blooming inks\, glitter and swirls\n\n No Prior Painting Experience Necessary. If it’s your very first time painting\, you might wanna calculate a bit more time to finish the painting. Sie zeigt vor\, wie die Strukturpasten und das Salz mit Acrylfarbe und Tinte eingefärbt werden und mit dem Spachtel in den zuvor gemalten Farbverlauf hinein gearbeitet werden. Die verschiedensten Strukturen; trocken bis flüssig\, fein bis grobkörnig\, matt bis glänzend\, bieten alle eine zusätzliche faszinierende\, haptische und etwas dreidimensionale Ebene zur Farbkomposition und Formgebung. Bei der abstrakten Malerei spielt die eigene Farbpalette eine wichtige Rolle und wird hier in der seriellen Arbeitsweise auf zwei Leinwänden von der Künstlerin angeleitet\, individuell erarbeitet. Eingefärbte Struktur-Schichten werden solange hinzugefügt\, bis die Kompositionen stimmig werden. Die Werke können schlussendlich an etwas ganz Natürliches wie zum Beispiel Gesteine in den Gebirgen oder an Rost-Effekte erinnern\, bleiben aber natürlich ein sehr offenes abstraktes Bild.  \nDies ist kein klassischer PaintEvent für ein bestimmtes Bild mit Schritt für Schritt Anweisungen. Stattdessen wird Angelika diese Technik so erklären\, dass Sie zwei ganz eigene Bilder auf Leinwand kreieren können und sich während diesem meditativen Prozess erden und ihrer Kreativität Freiraum geben können. \n Der Event ist für jeden geeignet\, es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt.\n Alle Materialien werden von uns bereitgestellt und sind im Preis inbegriffen.\n 2 Leinwände (20x20cm und 30x40cm) und alle Materialien werden von uns bereitgestellt und sind im Preis inbegriffen.\n Der Event wird auf Deutsch und Englisch geleitet. Im Falle einer Absage werden die Gäste mit einem Ticket per Mail informiert und das Ticket wird nach Wunsch entweder umgebucht oder komplett zurückerstattet. \n— English — \nThe artist Angelika shows at her STRUCTURES workshop how she paints with a variety of texture pastes and salt on canvas. She demonstrates how the structural pastes and salt are colored with acrylic paint and ink and added with the spatula into the previously painted color gradient. The wide variety of textures possible; dry to liquid\, fine to coarse grained\, matte to glossy\, all offer an additional fascinating\, tactile and  a bit three-dimensional layer to the color composition and shaping. In abstract painting\, one’s own color palette plays an important role and is here individually focused on in the serial way of working on two canvases guided by the artist. Colored structure layers are added until the compositions become coherent. The works can finally remind of something very natural such as rocks in the mountains or rust effects\, but of course they remain open abstract paintings.  \nThis is not a classic PaintEvent for a specific motive with step by step instructions. Instead\, Angelika will explain this technique in a way that you can create your very own paintings on canvas and\, most importantly\, be able to ground yourself during this meditative like process and just let your creativity flow.  \n The event is suitable for everyone\, no previous experience is required.\n All Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price.\n 2 canvases (20×20 and 30x40cm) and all materials will be provided by us and are included in the price\n Material: structure pastes from Gerstaecker and high quality acrylic paints from Fleury-Art.ch and acrylic inks\n Language: depending on the group English or German\n You can take your paintings home in a paper bag (dried paintings) or a pizza box (wet paintings)\n We will start the instructions at 11AM\, please come a few minutes ahead of time. As usual\, the event host will guide you through the painting while you are free to choose another color or canvas size. \nAbout the theme: \nClaude Monet was the leader of the French Impressionist movement. Interested in painting in the open air and capturing natural light. Masterful as a colorist and as a painter of light and atmosphere\, his work often achieved a remarkable degree of abstraction. \nFrom 1883\, Monet lived in Giverny\, where he purchased a house and property and began a vast landscaping project which included lily ponds that would become the subjects of his best-known works. He began painting the water lilies\, first in vertical views with a Japanese bridge as a central feature and later in the series of large-scale paintings that was to occupy him continuously for the next 20 years of his life. \nPlease note: Unlike our standard guided PaintEvents (mostly 2hrs)\, the instructions here are verbal. Rolando is happy to provide visual instructions (demonstration on a canvas) as well if needed. \n Level: Options for many levels provided. Like acrylic painting\, it’s an invention of the twentieth century. DESCRIPTION:  \n— Künstler / Artist — \n[tlpteam id=”25473″ title=”Rolando”]\n— English — \nEnjoy a Fun and Colorful Evening in Zurich!\nCreativity Workshop is a painting workshop series to introduce the basic techniques of Modern Abstract Painting. Abstract painting is a wonderful gateway for satisfying artistic expression. You can work with colors\, dots\, lines\, shapes and textures and create a personal visual rhythm in a painting but you can also feel free and work in the intuitive way\, gestural\, you also can explore all different kinds of techniques. \nThe workshop series include four sections: Grisaille\, Layering\, Blending and Sgraffito \, at each section you will learn a specific technique which will help you to achieve a new level for your abstract learning process …… on every second Monday\, Rolando\, our friend\, host and artist from Cuba is looking forward to assist you to enjoy this new creative experience.You don’t necessarily need to participate the workshops in sequence. Every workshop is an individual section. \nAbout Today’s workshop – Sgraffito \nLiterally meaning scratch\, sgraffito is a painting technique where the artist scratches the top layer of paint\, while still wet\, to reveal a bottom layer of a different color. \nThe background needs to be completely dry before you can start applying to top layer. To keep the acrylic paint of the top layer wet long enough to finish the sgraffito\, you may add a retarder medium. \nTo obtain the sgraffito effect\, you can use a variety of tools\, like the edge of a painting knife\, the tip of a brush handle\, a wire brush\, or any sharp tool that serves the purpose. \nThis event is limited to a maximum of 10 people per session to ensure a calm atmosphere and optimal guidance. \nFind more about Rolando’s work here. \nPlease note: This is not a typical “guided event”. There will be no step-by-step instructions for a particular painting. Instead\, Rolando will show you techniques and tricks and encourage you to paint intuitively and freely. These structural pastes are a wonderful and exciting medium to make your painting more interesting. The element of arts are line\, shape\, form\, space \, color and TEXTURE. The structural paste will give you immediately texture. \nIn this class\, Angelika shows how to work with this medium. Spatula\, knife and paintbrush are the tools and there are different kind of pastes like pumice\, soft gel\, Glas bead gel etc. After you apply this wonderful medium \,you paint with acrylic or even watercolor over it. No problem\, we always keep all colors ready. Our host is happy to show you how to create your desired color tone!\n Language of Instruction: English \n  \n— Deutsch — \nErlebe einen entspannenden PaintEvent in Zürich!\nGönn dir eine kreative Auszeit und probier etwas Neues. Bei einem PaintEvent erstellst du mir der Unterstützung von lokalen Künstlern dein eigenes Kunstwerk\, das du am Ende des Abends mit nach Hause nimmst. Im Vordergrund stehen Entspannung\, die Freude am Malen und die Entfaltung deiner Kreativität. \nDas Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt. Die Eventleitung wird dich Schritt für Schritt durch das Bild begleiten.\n Hast du noch nie gemalt? Malst du die ganze Zeit? Fragen und Ideen zum Austausch sind herzlich willkommen! Inspiration findest du links und rechts! Wir werden die groben Formen abpausen 🙂\n Alle Malmaterialien werden von uns bereitgestellt und sind im Preis inbegriffen. Grössen: A5-A3 Wasserfarbpapier\n Für die schnelleren unter uns: Male noch ein zweites Bild! Kein Problem\, wir haben immer viele Farben im Studio und zeigen dir\, wie dein gewünschter Farbton gemischt werden kann!
