Mit dem neuen Studio an der Limmatstrasse 73 ist es jetzt endlich so weit. Dort haben wir einen ganzen Bereich des Ateliers dem Action Painting gewidmet\, in dem Ihr Euch sorglos mit Pinseln\, Spritzpistolen und weiteren Utensilien austoben könnt. Unsere Künstlerin startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n  \n\nDas Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt\nInklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). Dennoch empfehlen wir Euch\, nicht in Eurer feinsten Kleidung zu kommen.\nBitte bringt ein Paar alte Socken oder nehmt in Kauf\, dass Eure Socken etwas farbig werden.\nInklusivmaterial: 1 Stk. 30x40cm Leinwand zum Üben. 1 Stk. 40x50cm Leinwand. Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\nWe have been wanting to offer you this workshop for quite some time now. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n\nThe event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required.\nWe provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing.\nPlease bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored.\nIncluded materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. All paints and utensils.\nUpgrade Options: Want to create larger artworks or additional ones? Check out our UPGRADE pricelist for action painting. DESCRIPTION:— Deutsch —\n\nSteingut Workshop – Magie der Glasuren\nWas hat Malen mit Chemie zu tun? Das erfährst du beim Steingut glasieren! \nUnter Anleitung unserer Kursleitung entdeckst du die Welt der Stoneware-Glasuren und gestaltest dein eigenes\, einzigartiges Keramikstück. Dabei geht es weniger um präzises Malen\, sondern vielmehr um Farben\, Schichten und fliessende Effekte. Je nach Glasur entstehen beim Brennen Strukturen\, die an Wasser\, Wolken\, Mineralien oder abstrakte Landschaften erinnern. \nAnders als klassische Keramik wird Stoneware bei über 1’200 °C gebrannt. Bei diesen Temperaturen beginnen die Glasuren zu schmelzen\, zu fliessen und miteinander zu reagieren: Farben vermischen sich\, Strukturen entstehen und jedes Stück entwickelt seinen ganz eigenen Charakter. Der Ofen hat dabei immer das letzte Wort. \nDu brauchst keine Vorkenntnisse. Wähle dein Lieblingsstück aus unserer Stoneware-Selektion und lass dich von unseren zusammengestellten Farbpaletten und Musterstücken inspirieren. Sie zeigen\, wie verschiedene Glasurkombinationen auf unterschiedlichen Formen reagieren können – aber sie sind als Idee gedacht\, weniger als Vorlage. Wie du dein eigenes Stück gestaltest\, bleibt ganz dir überlassen. \n✨ Entdecke Glasuren und spiele mit ihren Eigenschaften. Das Ergebnis wird dich sicherlich überraschen! \n\nGut zu wissen\nDauer: Ca. 1\,5 Stunden für ein Stück oder 2–2\,5 Stunden für zwei Stücke – je nach Gestaltung und deinem Tempo. \nTee & Trocknungszeit: Zwischen den einzelnen Glasurschichten entstehen kurze Trocknungszeiten von ca. 1–10 Minuten. Während dieser kleinen Pausen laden wir dich auf eine Tasse Tee ein. Du kannst gerne eigene Snacks mitbringen oder die Zeit für ein schnelles Abendessen in unserem Hinterhof nutzen. \nMaterialien: Wir verwenden hochwertige Mayco Stoneware und Stroke & Coat Glasuren. Die Glasuren sind ungiftig und auswaschbar von Haut und Kleitung. Nach dem Brennen sind deine fertigen Stücke lebensmittelsicher und spülmaschinenfest. \nPreis: Die Ticket von CHF 55 (“Eintritt”) beinhaltet Anleitung\, Nutzung des Ateliers und das Brennen deiner Keramik. Dein Keramikstück und die Glasuren wählst und bezahlst du separat vor Ort – in der Regel ca. CHF 30–40 pro Stück. Endpreis für ein Objekt: 75-95CHF. Guided by our instructor\, you’ll explore stoneware glazing and create your own unique ceramic piece using colours\, layers and flowing effects rather than precise painting. Depending on the glazes you choose\, the firing can create effects reminiscent of water\, clouds\, minerals or abstract landscapes. \nUnlike earthenware\, stoneware is fired at over 1\,200°C. At these temperatures\, the glazes melt\, move and interact: colours blend\, textures emerge and every piece develops its own character. The kiln always has the final word. \nNo previous experience is required. Choose your favourite stoneware piece and explore our curated glaze palettes and sample pieces for inspiration. They show how different glaze combinations can react across ceramic forms—but they are inspiration\, not templates. Your own design is entirely up to you. \n✨ Explore colour\, enjoy the process and leave a little room for surprise. \n\nGood to know\nDuration: Approx. 1.5 hours for one item or 2–2.5 hours for two items\, depending on your design and pace. \nTea & drying time: Each glaze layer needs approximately 2–15 minutes to dry. During these little pauses\, enjoy a cup of tea\, bring your own snacks or have a quick dinner in our backyard. \nMaterials: We use high-quality Mayco Stoneware and Stroke & Coat glazes. The glazes are non-toxic and washable\, and your finished piece will be food-safe and dishwasher-safe after firing. \nPricing: The CHF 45-55 ticket fee (“Entrance fee”) includes instruction\, studio use and kiln firing. Your ceramic piece and glazes are chosen and paid for separately during the workshop\, usually around CHF 30–40 per piece. Final price for 1 item: 75-95CHF. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n\nThe event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required.\nWe provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Mit dem neuen Studio an der Limmatstrasse 73 ist es jetzt endlich so weit. Dort haben wir einen ganzen Bereich des Ateliers dem Action Painting gewidmet\, in dem Ihr Euch sorglos mit Pinseln\, Spritzpistolen und weiteren Utensilien austoben könnt. Unsere Künstlerin startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n  \n\nDas Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt\nInklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). Dennoch empfehlen wir Euch\, nicht in Eurer feinsten Kleidung zu kommen.\nBitte bringt ein Paar alte Socken oder nehmt in Kauf\, dass Eure Socken etwas farbig werden.\nInklusivmaterial: 1 Stk. 30x40cm Leinwand zum Üben. 1 Stk. 40x50cm Leinwand. Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\nWe have been wanting to offer you this workshop for quite some time now. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n\nThe event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required.\nWe provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing.\nPlease bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored.\nIncluded materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. All paints and utensils.\nUpgrade Options: Want to create larger artworks or additional ones? Check out our UPGRADE pricelist for action painting. Die Antwort ist einfach: das Malen ermöglicht es ihnen\, sich frei auszudrücken\, ihre Emotionen und Gefühle mitzuteilen\, ihre Talente und Besonderheiten zu erkunden. Mit dem Action Painting für Kids bieten wir einen einzigartigen Workshop an\, der in dieser Form wohl in keinem Klassenzimmer möglich ist. Wir haben in unserem neuen Atelier einen grossen Bereich nur fürs Action Painting eingerichtet\, wo Kids mit Pinseln\, Schwämmen und anderen Werkzeugen spritzen\, sprühen und wirbeln können. Es geht dabei darum  spielerisch Erfahrungen mit Farben und Formen zu sammeln\, ohne sich auf das Endprodukt zu konzentrieren. Zusätzlich schalten wir das UV-Licht ein\, so dass die Kinder eine lebhafte Explosion von Farben erleben können\, die im Dunkeln leuchten und atemberaubende\, leuchtende Kunstwerke schaffen. \n  \nUnser Künstler*in startet mit einer Einführung in die Grundlagen und zeigt dann verschiedene Techniken. Danach können die Kids loslegen und ihre ganz individuellen Meisterwerke auf einer hochwertigen 30x40cm Leinwand kreieren. \n  \nP.S. Das Neonmalen im Dunkeln ist der letzte Teil der Action-Painting-Session (ca.30min) und ist optional. Je nach individuellem Wunsch kann das Kind diesen Teil überspringen und bei Tageslicht weiter malen. \n\nÜber den Workshop\n\nDer Event ist für Kids von 8 bis 12 Jahren geeignet – keine Vorkenntnisse nötig. Der Workshop ist nur für Kinder gedacht und Eltern können in unserer Lounge (wo wir ein kleines Selbstbedienungs-Café haben) entspannen oder einen Spaziergang durch die Nachbarschaft machen.\nWir haben verschiedene Schutzschürzen und -hemden\, empfehlen aber trotzdem\, dass dein Kind Kleidung trägt\, die im schlimmsten Fall farbig werden darf. We think that it is because this process allows them to express themselves in a free way\, to communicate their emotions and feelings and to explore their talents and specialties. With the Action Painting for Kids\, we offer a unique workshop that you won’t find in any classroom. We’ve set up a large area in our new studio specifically for Action Painting\, where kids can splash\, spray\, and swirl with brushes\, sponges\, and other tools. The focus is on playfully experimenting with colors and shapes without concentrating on the final product. Additionally\, we will also turn on the UV light\, the kids can experience a vibrant explosion of colors glowing brilliantly in the dark to create stunning\, luminous artworks. \n  \nOur artist will kick things off with an intro to the basics and then show various cool techniques. After that it’s time for the kids to dive in and create their masterpieces on a premium 30x40cm canvas. \n  \nP.S. The Neon Painting in the dark will be last part of the Action Painting session (ca.30mins) and it is optional. According to individual request\, the kid can skip this part and continue to paint under the daylight. \n\nAbout the Workshop\n\nThe event is suitable for kids from 8 to 12 years old – no previous experience is required. The workshop is intended for kids only and parents may hang out in our lounge (where we have a small self-service Café) or enjoy a stroll through the neighbourhood.\nWe have various protective aprons and shirts\, etc but we nevertheless recommend that your kid comes in some clothing that may get colorful. In particular an old pair of socks is highly recommended as these will almost definitely get paint on them.\nIncluded materials: One premium quality 30x40cm canvas for your kid to keep. Dort haben wir einen ganzen Bereich des Ateliers dem Action Painting gewidmet\, in dem Ihr Euch sorglos mit Pinseln\, Spritzpistolen und weiteren Utensilien austoben könnt. Unsere Künstlerin startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n  \n\nDas Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt\nInklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n\nThe event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required.\nWe provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Wir reisen zusammen in die Welt deines Lieblingskünstlers! \n  \nÜber das Motiv\nClaude Monet war der Anführer der französischen Impressionistenbewegung. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). In this elegant abstract workshop\, you’ll explore the beauty of fluid acrylics and splashing techniques to create soft\, flowing\, and sophisticated backgrounds or stand-alone artworks full of depth and motion. \nThis process is all about letting go and trusting the flow – perfect for anyone who wants to loosen up\, play with colour\, and experience the joy of intuitive painting. DESCRIPTION:— Deutsch —\n\nSteingut Workshop – Magie der Glasuren\nWas hat Malen mit Chemie zu tun? Das erfährst du beim Steingut glasieren! \nUnter Anleitung unserer Kursleitung entdeckst du die Welt der Stoneware-Glasuren und gestaltest dein eigenes\, einzigartiges Keramikstück. Dabei geht es weniger um präzises Malen\, sondern vielmehr um Farben\, Schichten und fliessende Effekte. Je nach Glasur entstehen beim Brennen Strukturen\, die an Wasser\, Wolken\, Mineralien oder abstrakte Landschaften erinnern. \nInspiriert von den faszinierenden Farben der Pfauenfedern lernst du in diesem Workshop\, wie du mit Punkten\, Pinseltechniken und fliessenden Akzentglasuren ausdrucksstarke\, mehrschichtige Glasurmuster gestaltest\, welche an ein Iris oder “Pfauenfederaugen” erinnern. \nObwohl alle Teilnehmenden mit demselben Gestaltungskonzept arbeiten\, entwickelt jedes Stück im Ofen seinen ganz eigenen Charakter. \nAnders als klassische Keramik wird Stoneware bei über 1’200 °C gebrannt. Bei diesen Temperaturen beginnen die Glasuren zu schmelzen\, zu fliessen und miteinander zu reagieren: Farben vermischen sich\, Strukturen entstehen und jedes Stück entwickelt seinen ganz eigenen Charakter. Der Ofen hat dabei immer das letzte Wort. \nDu brauchst keine Vorkenntnisse. Wähle dein Lieblingsstück aus unserer Stoneware-Selektion und lass dich von unseren zusammengestellten Farbpaletten und Musterstücken inspirieren. Sie zeigen\, wie verschiedene Glasurkombinationen auf unterschiedlichen Formen reagieren können – aber sie sind als Idee gedacht\, weniger als Vorlage. Wie du dein eigenes Stück gestaltest\, bleibt ganz dir überlassen. \n✨ Entdecke Glasuren und spiele mit ihren Eigenschaften. Das Ergebnis wird dich sicherlich überraschen! \n\nGut zu wissen\nDauer: Ca. 1\,5 Stunden für ein Stück oder 2–2\,5 Stunden für zwei Stücke – je nach Gestaltung und deinem Tempo. \nTee & Trocknungszeit: Zwischen den einzelnen Glasurschichten entstehen kurze Trocknungszeiten von ca. 1–10 Minuten. Während dieser kleinen Pausen laden wir dich auf eine Tasse Tee ein. Du kannst gerne eigene Snacks mitbringen oder die Zeit für ein schnelles Abendessen in unserem Hinterhof nutzen. \nMaterialien: Wir verwenden hochwertige Mayco Stoneware und Stroke & Coat Glasuren. Die Glasuren sind ungiftig und auswaschbar von Haut und Kleitung. Nach dem Brennen sind deine fertigen Stücke lebensmittelsicher und spülmaschinenfest. \nPreis: Das Ticket von CHF 55 (“Eintritt”) beinhaltet Anleitung\, Nutzung des Ateliers und das Brennen deiner Keramik. Dein Keramikstück und die Glasuren wählst und bezahlst du separat vor Ort – in der Regel ca. CHF 30–40 pro Stück. Endpreis für ein Objekt: 75-95CHF. \nSprache: Der Workshop findet je nach Gruppe auf Deutsch oder Englisch statt. \nVorsicht bei Flux (= Flow = Fluid = Runner) Glasuren an der Aussenseite vom Objekt: Bitte folge beim Anmalen von der Aussenseite deiner Tasse\, Schale usw. den hier verlinkten Design Plan\, falls du eine fluide Glasure verwendest (z.B. Depending on the glazes you choose\, the firing can create effects reminiscent of water\, clouds\, minerals or abstract landscapes. \nInspired by the magnificent colours of peacock feathers\, this workshop teaches you how to build striking layered glaze patterns using dots\, brushwork and flowing accent glazes. We’ll show you how to create the characteristic “Iris” pattern and how carefully placed glazes can enhance depth\, movement and iridescent colour after firing. While each participant follows the same visual concept\, every piece develops its own personality inside the kiln. \nUnlike earthenware\, stoneware is fired at over 1\,200°C. At these temperatures\, the glazes melt\, move and interact: colours blend\, textures emerge and every piece develops its own character. The kiln always has the final word. \nNo previous experience is required. Choose your favourite stoneware piece and explore our curated glaze palettes and sample pieces for inspiration. They show how different glaze combinations can react across ceramic forms—but they are inspiration\, not templates. Your own design is entirely up to you. \n✨ Explore colour\, enjoy the process and leave a little room for surprise. \n\nGood to know\nDuration: Approx. 1.5 hours for one item or 2–2.5 hours for two items\, depending on your design and pace. \nTea & drying time: Each glaze layer needs approximately 2–15 minutes to dry. During these little pauses\, enjoy a cup of tea\, bring your own snacks or have a quick dinner in our backyard. \nMaterials: We use high-quality Mayco Stoneware and Stroke & Coat glazes. The glazes are non-toxic and washable\, and your finished piece will be food-safe and dishwasher-safe after firing. \nPricing: The CHF 45-55 booking fee (“Entrance fee”) includes instruction\, studio use and kiln firing. Your ceramic piece and glazes are chosen and paid for separately during the workshop\, usually around CHF 30–40 per piece. Final price for one item: 75-95CHF. \nLanguage: English or German\, depending on the group. \nCareful with Flux (=fluid=runner=flow) Glazes if applied outside of your object: Please follow the hereby linked instructions to paint the outside of your mug\, bowl\, etc. Flux Glazes are e.g. Light Flux\, Opaque Lustre\, Root beer\, Sea Salt. \nPlease note: Stoneware glazes transform significantly during firing\, so colours\, movement and effects can vary from the samples. Mit dem neuen Studio an der Limmatstrasse 73 ist es jetzt endlich so weit. Dort haben wir einen ganzen Bereich des Ateliers dem Action Painting gewidmet\, in dem Ihr Euch sorglos mit Pinseln\, Spritzpistolen und weiteren Utensilien austoben könnt. Unsere Künstlerin startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n  \n\nDas Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt\nInklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\nWe have been wanting to offer you this workshop for quite some time now. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n\nThe event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required.\nWe provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing.\nPlease bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored.\nIncluded materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas.
