DESCRIPTION:  \n\n–Künsterlin/Artist– \n[tlpteam id=”25480″ title=”Janka”]\n  \n \nTo see more STRUCTURES artworks by Janka Stemmle \n  \nIMPORTANT: This event is taking place at our new studio at Zeughausstrasse 31\, 8004 Zürich.\nWICHTIG: Dieser event findet in unserem neuen Studio an der Zeughausstrasse 31\, 8004 Zürich statt.\n\n\n— Deutsch — \nDie Künstlerin Janka Stemmle zeigt in ihrem STRUCTURES Workshop\, wie sie mit verschiedensten Strukturpasten und Salz auf Leinwand malt. Sie zeigt vor\, wie die Strukturpasten und das Salz mit Acrylfarbe und Tinte eingefärbt werden und mit dem Spachtel in den zuvor gemalten Farbverlauf hinein gearbeitet werden. Die verschiedensten Strukturen; trocken bis flüssig\, fein bis grobkörnig\, matt bis glänzend\, bieten alle eine zusätzliche faszinierende\, haptische und etwas dreidimensionale Ebene zur Farbkomposition und Formgebung. Bei der abstrakten Malerei spielt die eigene Farbpalette eine wichtige Rolle und wird hier in der seriellen Arbeitsweise auf zwei Leinwänden von der Künstlerin angeleitet\, individuell erarbeitet. Eingefärbte Struktur-Schichten werden solange hinzugefügt\, bis die Kompositionen stimmig werden. Die Werke können schlussendlich an etwas ganz Natürliches wie zum Beispiel Gesteine in den Gebirgen oder an Rost-Effekte erinnern\, bleiben aber natürlich ein sehr offenes abstraktes Bild.  \nDies ist kein klassischer PaintEvent für ein bestimmtes Bild mit Schritt für Schritt Anweisungen. Stattdessen wird Janka diese Technik so erklären\, dass Sie zwei ganz eigene Bilder auf Leinwand kreieren können und sich während diesem meditativen Prozess erden und ihrer Kreativität Freiraum geben können. \n Der Event ist für jeden geeignet\, es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt.\n Alle Materialien werden von uns bereitgestellt und sind im Preis inbegriffen.\n 2 Leinwände (20x20cm und 30x40cm) und alle Materialien werden von uns bereitgestellt und sind im Preis inbegriffen.\n Der Event wird auf Deutsch und Englisch geleitet. Im Falle einer Absage werden die Gäste mit einem Ticket per Mail informiert und das Ticket wird nach Wunsch entweder umgebucht oder komplett zurückerstattet. \n— English — \nThe artist Janka Stemmle shows at her STRUCTURES workshop how she paints with a variety of texture pastes and salt on canvas. She demonstrates how the structural pastes and salt are colored with acrylic paint and ink and added with the spatula into the previously painted color gradient. The wide variety of textures possible; dry to liquid\, fine to coarse grained\, matte to glossy\, all offer an additional fascinating\, tactile and  a bit three-dimensional layer to the color composition and shaping. In abstract painting\, one’s own color palette plays an important role and is here individually focused on in the serial way of working on two canvases guided by the artist. Colored structure layers are added until the compositions become coherent. The works can finally remind of something very natural such as rocks in the mountains or rust effects\, but of course they remain open abstract paintings.  \nThis is not a classic PaintEvent for a specific motive with step by step instructions. Instead\, Janka will explain this technique in a way that you can create your very own paintings on canvas and\, most importantly\, be able to ground yourself during this meditative like process and just let your creativity flow.  \n The event is suitable for everyone\, no previous experience is required.\n All Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price.\n 2 canvases (20×20 and 30x40cm) and all materials will be provided by us and are included in the price\n Material: structure pastes from Gerstaecker and high quality acrylic paints from Fleury-Art.ch and acrylic inks\n Language: depending on the group English or German or Swiss German\n You can take your paintings home in a paper bag (dried paintings) or a pizza box (wet paintings)\n We will start the instructions at 6PM\, please come a few minutes ahead of time. DESCRIPTION:–Künsterlin/Artist– \n[tlpteam id=”56480″ title=”Anastasia”]\n  \n— Deutsch — \n\nDieser Workshop ist eine perfekte Einführung in die Kunst aus Resin. In diesem Workshop zeigt Ihnen unsere Künstlerin Anastasia die grundlegenden Techniken\, wie Sie verschiedene Farben und goldene Flocken verwenden können\, um verschiedene Versionen von Harzuntersetzern zu kreieren. \n\n\n\n\n Perfekt für Anfänger: Keine vorherige Erfahrung mit Resin notwendig.\n Alle Materialien werden gestellt und sind im Ticketpreis enthalten.\n Material: 3 Silikon-Formen (ca. 12 Durchmesser) und MasterCast Resin von EliChem (ungiftig und frei von Lösungsmitteln für eine einfache und sichere Anwendung\, auch in unserem Online Shop erhältlich)\, verschiedene Farbpigmente.\n Wichtig: Um eine optimale Trocknung ohne Verfliessen zu garantieren\, empfehlen wir\, dass Ihr die Werke über Nacht bei uns im Atelier lasst und später abholen kommt. Alternativ bieten wir auch Verpackung und Versand für einen Aufpreis von 15 CHF pro Sendung an (zahlbar bar oder TWINT vor Ort). Falls ihr Eure Werke direkt nach dem Event mitnehmen wollt\, geht das selbstverständlich auch aber “auf eigene Gefahr” (müssen einfach so horizontal wie möglich bleiben).\nGut zu wissen: Bei der Arbeit mit Kunstharz  sind immer Plastikhandschuhe erforderlich\, um die Hände zu schützen (stellen wir bereit). Wir stellen auch Schürzen zur Verfügung\, empfehlen Euch aber dennoch lieber ältere Kleidung anzuziehen. Der Raum ist während der Arbeit mit Harz immer gut belüftet. Eine spezielle Atemmaske ist bei diesem Workshop aufgrund der geringen Menge an Resin\, unserem sehr geräumigen Atelier und der begrenzten Teilnehmerzahl nicht erforderlich. Obwohl unser Resin zertifiziert ungiftig ist\, raten wir schwangeren Frauen vorsichtshalber von der Teilnahme ab.\n Sprache der Unterweisung: Deutsch & Englisch\n Dauer der Veranstaltung: ca. 2h\n Wir beginnen pünktlich um 19 Uhr\, bitte kommt ein paar Minuten vorher. At this workshop our artist Anastasia will show you the basic techniques how to use various colors and golden flakes to create different versions of resin coasters. \n\n\n\n\n No prior experience with resin necessary\n All Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price.\n Material: 3 silicon molds (ca. 12 diameter)\,  MasterCast Resin by EliChem (non-toxic free from solvents for easy and safe application\, also available in our Online Shop)\, different color pigments.\n Important: For optimal drying process and avoiding any changes to your painting\, we recommend that you leave your artwork in the studio at least overnight and pick it up at later. Alternatively we can also pack it and ship it to you for an additional 15 CHF per parcel (payable at the workshop in cash or TWINT). If you want to take your artwork home right away\, that’s definitely also possible but “at your own risk” (needs to be transported as horizontal as possible).\n Good to know: Plastic gloves are always needed when working with resin from measuring to finished paintings to protect hands. Fun\, fabulous and totally addictive\, you’ll make 2 pieces of agate inspired wall art with us and\, what’s more\, it’s perfect for beginners and those looking to explore adding texture to their resin art. \nWonderfully therapeutic and oh so much fun\, our resin geode workshop offers a creative opportunity for all to create abstract pieces of art topped with handfuls of luscious textures. \nYou have the option of taking your masterpieces home with you or we can package and ship them to you a few days later.  \n  \nWhat you will learn:\n \n\nCreate stunning geode art using a variety of dynamic pouring techniques\nMeasure\, mix and add colour to your resin\nCreate uniformed free pours\nManipulate the resin to create different visual effects\, including using floating metal techniques\nEncourage pigment interactions such as cell formation\nAdd oodles of embellishments such as crustal chippings\, nuggets and flakes\nAchieve a perfect finish\, removing any bubbles that appear\nUse tips\, trade secrets and techniques\nMake use of leftover resin\n\n  \n  \nNo Prior Painting Experience Necessary. If it’s your very first time painting\, you might wanna calculate a bit more time to finish the painting. Also\, we recommend to skip a detail or two and/or call for assistance when you need!\n Step by Step Instructions\, but you are always welcome to paint something else!\n 2 wooden boards (23x23cm\, 0.5cm thick) and all Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price\n Medium: Premium alcohol ink and resin materials .\n Language of Instruction: English\n Duration of the Event: ca 3hrs \nImportant: For optimal drying process and avoiding any changes to your painting\, we recommend that you leave your artwork in the studio at least overnight and pick it up at later. Alternatively we can also pack it and ship it to you for an additional 15 CHF per parcel (payable at the workshop in cash or TWINT). If you want to take your artwork home right away\, that’s definitely also possible but “at your own risk” (needs to be transported as horizontal as possible). \nPlease note: This event will take place only if at least 5 people sign up 48hrs before the event. In case of cancellation\, guests with a ticket will get a notification via email. The ticket can be refunded completely or rescheduled.
