DESCRIPTION:  \n— Künstler / Artist — \n[tlpteam id=”25473″ title=”Rolando”]\n— English — \nEnjoy a Fun and Colorful Evening in Zurich!\nCreativity Workshop is a painting workshop series to introduce the basic techniques of Modern Abstract Painting. Abstract painting is a wonderful gateway for satisfying artistic expression. You can work with colors\, dots\, lines\, shapes and textures and create a personal visual rhythm in a painting but you can also feel free and work in the intuitive way\, gestural\, you also can explore all different kinds of techniques. \nThe workshop series include four sections: Grisaille\, Layering\, Blending and Sgraffito \, at each section you will learn a specific technique which will help you to achieve a new level for your abstract learning process …… on every second Monday\, Rolando\, our friend\, host and artist from Cuba is looking forward to assist you to enjoy this new creative experience.You don’t necessarily need to participate the workshops in sequence. Every workshop is an individual section. \nAbout Today’s workshop – Sgraffito \nLiterally meaning scratch\, sgraffito is a painting technique where the artist scratches the top layer of paint\, while still wet\, to reveal a bottom layer of a different color. \nThe background needs to be completely dry before you can start applying to top layer. To keep the acrylic paint of the top layer wet long enough to finish the sgraffito\, you may add a retarder medium. \nTo obtain the sgraffito effect\, you can use a variety of tools\, like the edge of a painting knife\, the tip of a brush handle\, a wire brush\, or any sharp tool that serves the purpose. \nThis event is limited to a maximum of 10 people per session to ensure a calm atmosphere and optimal guidance. \nFind more about Rolando’s work here. \nPlease note: This is not a typical “guided event”. There will be no step-by-step instructions for a particular painting. Instead\, Rolando will show you techniques and tricks and encourage you to paint intuitively and freely. Also\, this event takes place during our studio opening hours\, we might have some open painting guests as well at the other table. \n No prior Painting experience necessary\, we’ll provide options for all levels\n 1 canvas and all Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price. During a PaintEvent one of our local artists supports you in creating your very own masterpiece (for you to take home). The goal is to create a fun and stress-free environment for you to slow down and let your creativity flow. \nAbout the workshop: \nWe are more than happy to welcome Alena to be our new guest host for this special watercolor event. Together we will paint this beautiful painting using wet on wet technique. The process is broken down into easy steps. The wet paint is laid on wet or damp paper\, the colours flow and blend into one another in beautiful\, unexpected ways\, creating a diffused effect. Let your creativity flow! \n No Prior Painting Experience Necessary – Step by Step Guidance through the whole process.\n Frist time or frequent painters – all kind of questions are more than welcome! Our host will be happy to assist and chat. Inspiration is all around 🙂\n All Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price. The original size is A4. No problem\, we always keep all colors ready.
