SUMMARY:Large Flowers Workshop with Ana Paz
DESCRIPTION:IMPORTANT: This event is taking place at our studio at Zeughausstrasse 31\, 8004 Zürich.\nWICHTIG: Dieser event findet in unserem Studio an der Zeughausstrasse 31\, 8004 Zürich statt.\nArtist/Host \n[tlpteam id=”25488″ title=”Ana”]\n\n\n\nA Workshop on Painting Flowers in an Impressionistic Style\n \n  \nNature is the primordial art form that awakens aesthetic inspiration and wonder. \nIn Nature we can experience the “fabric” of life through our full senses and the interconnectedness of all its parts. Nurturing our relationship with nature provides an endless source of balance and artistic inspiration. \nAna paints wild flowers\, idyllic nature and its expressive disorder in movement. \nHer way of painting is in an impressionist fashion with free access to imagination\, to improvisation and to fantasy. Each canvas is as much a result of randomness\, as it is a product of planned brush strokes and striates of colors and washes.  \nThis is how it ends up acquiring its unique soul.  \nIt is a landscape upon which you can rest and let your imagination run freely. As an option\, you can add Mandalas to your painting. \nIn this course you will learn:  \n\nHow to draw flowers\nHow to paint flowers (insights about lights and shadows)\nChoosing the right colors\nPaint an abstract background – different techniques\nInsights about: color theory \, texture\, shapes\, contrast\, composition\, \nBuilding complexity layer by layer\nDeciding when the painting is finished\n\nThis is not a typical “guided event”. There will be no step-by-step instructions for a particular painting. Instead\, Ana will show you some techniques and tricks and encourage you to paint intuitively and freely. \n No prior Painting experience necessary\n 1 large canvas (50x70cm) and all other painting materials are provided and included in the ticket price. Additional canvases & paint are available at the studio (10-30CHF per canvas)\n Do you like shiny things? We’ve got pearly\, silver\, copper and golden acrylic Paint!\n We use premium acrylic paint by fleury-art.com\n Language of Instruction: English \nPlease note: This event will take place only if at least 5 people sign up 48hrs before the event. In case of cancellation\, guests with a ticket will get a notification via email. The ticket can be refunded completely or rescheduled.
