Mit dem neuen Studio an der Limmatstrasse 73 ist es jetzt endlich so weit. Dort haben wir einen ganzen Bereich des Ateliers dem Action Painting gewidmet\, in dem Ihr Euch sorglos mit Pinseln\, Spritzpistolen und weiteren Utensilien austoben könnt. Unsere Künstlerin startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n  \n • Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Inklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\nWe have been wanting to offer you this workshop for quite some time now. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n • The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing. \n• Please bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored. \n•  Included materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. All paints and utensils. \n• Upgrade Options: Want to create larger artworks or additional ones? Check out our UPGRADE pricelist for action painting. SUMMARY:Resin Art Workshop
DESCRIPTION:— Deutsch — \n  \nDie Künstlerin Anastasia zeigt am LUCENT Workshop wie mit Kunstharz abstrakt gemalt werden kann. Kunstharz wird dabei mit verschiedenen Farbpigmenten und Alkohol Tinten eingefärbt. Denn eigentlich ist Kunstharz ein transparentes Material\, das sich durch das Aushärten zu einem glänzenden Material entwickelt\, das eindeutig an Glas erinnert. Ab dem Moment\, in dem der Härter im Verhältnis 1:1 dem Kunstharz zugefügt wird\, verwandelt sich dieser innerhalb von 30 bis 45 Minuten zu einem vollkommen ausgehärteten Material. Der Malprozess kann also einzig innerhalb dieser Zeitspanne geschehen und ist Materialbedingt zunächst sehr dynamisch und wird gegen Ende sehr langsam und ruhig. Bei dieser Technik spielt die Farbsättigung vom Kunstharz an sich eine zentrale Rolle. Was bedeutet\, es wird entschieden\, wie stark durchsichtig und durchscheinend oder eher deckend der Kunstharz sein soll. \n  \nDies wird mit der Menge an Farbpigmenten entschieden\, die dem Kunstharz zum Einfärben ohne Limite zugegeben wird. Alkoholtinte hingegen kann nur bis zu höchstens 10% des Gesamtvolumens zugegeben werden\, sonst würde der Kunstharz gummiartig werden statt auszuhärten. Sind mehrere farbige Kunstharze jeweils in Bechern entstanden\, werden sie wie bei anderen “Fluid Art” Techniken auf die weisse Malplatte gegossen. Durch das Kippen und die Verwendung eines Strohhalms oder eines Föhns wird der Kunstharz auf der Oberfläche bewegt. Die wesentlichen Effekte entstehen vor allem zu Beginn\, wenn der Kunstharz noch sehr flüssig ist\, weil dieser dann noch sehr leicht auf diverses Eingreifen reagiert. Durch die Verwendung eines kleinen Bunsenbrenners entstehen verschiedene faszinierende kreisförmige Strukturen\, sie sich mit der Zeit noch ein wenig von selbst verändern können. Ganz am Ende wird die Oberfläche mit dem Bunsenbrenner versiegelt\, indem sie so lange mit Hitze bearbeitet wird\, bis sich die vielen winzigen Luftbläschen aus der Oberfläche herauslösen. Durch die Hitze verändert sich der Kunstharz von milchig zu klar und glänzend. Letztendlich entstehen zahlreiche transparent leuchtende Farbschichten\, die ineinander und übereinander liegen. Sie können noch so lange subtil verändert werden\, bis sie sich nicht mehr bewegen lassen. \n  \n• Dies ist nicht ein klassischer PaintEvent für ein bestimmtes Bild mit Schritt für Schritt Anweisungen. Stattdessen wird Anastasia diese Technik so erklären\, dass Sie zwei eigene Kreationen aus Kunstharz erstellen können und vor allem während dieses dynamischen und gleichzeitig sehr ruhigen Prozesses sehr präsent und bei sich sein können. \n• Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Alle Materialien werden von uns bereitgestellt und sind im Preis inbegriffen \n• Am Schluss hast du ​zwei Kunstwerke aus Kunstharz\, ​die über Nacht trocknen müssen.​ Dafür bieten wir zwei Schachteln an\, mit denen die Bilder direkt mit nach Hause genommen werden können. Diese müssen horizontal transportiert werden\, können aber ohne Probleme mit in den ÖV genommen werden (vergleichbar mit 2 Pizza-Schachteln). \n• Material: Verschiedene Farbpigmente\, verschiedene Kunstharz Einfärbemittel von EliChem\, Acrylfarben\, Glitzer und Alkohol Tinten\, zwei MDF Platten (23x23cm und 24x30cm) und MasterCast Kunstharz ungiftig frei von Lösungsmitteln für eine einfache und sichere Anwendung von EliChem erhältlich direkt über unseren Online Shop. \n• Wissenswertes: Beim Arbeiten mit Kunstharz werden immer Plastikhandschuhe gebraucht\, damit die Hände vom Abmessen bis zum fertigen Kunstwerk geschützt sind\, ausgenommen wenn Hahrföhn zum Manipulieren und Bunsenbrenner zum Versiegeln verwendet werden. Der Raum wird während dem Arbeiten mit Kunstharz immer gut durchlüftet. Eine Atemschutzmaske braucht es an diesem Kurs mit der gebrauchten kleinen Menge an Kunstharz im sehr grossräumigen Atelier mit einer auf 10 Teilnehmer begrenzte Anzahl nicht. Sie wäre nur dann wichtig\, wenn anschliessend mit ganz grossen Bildern zu Hause weiter experimentiert wird. Obwohl unser Resin zertifiziert ungiftig ist\, raten wir schwangeren Frauen vorsichtshalber von der Teilnahme ab. \n•Das Event wird auf Deutsch und Englisch geleitet. Instruktionen an die Gruppe werden meistens auf Englisch gegeben\, individuelle Tipps gerne auch auf Deutsch. \n• Eventdauer: ca. 3h \n• Die Instruktionen fangen um 18:30 Uhr an\, das Studio öffnet 20min vor dem Event. \n\n  \nBitte beachte\, dass wir dieses Event nur durchführen\, wenn sich mindestens 4 Personen spätestens 72h vor dem Event online angemeldet haben. Im Falle einer Absage werden die Gäste mit einem Ticket per Mail informiert und das Ticket wird nach Wunsch entweder umgebucht oder komplett zurückerstattet. \n  \n— English — \n  \n\n\n\n\nAt the LUCENT Workshop the artist Anastasia​ shows how to paint with resin in an abstract way. The resin is colored with different color pigments and alcohol inks. Resin reminds of glass because it is a transparent material that gets shiny after the curing process. At first the resin is liquid and from the moment the hardener gets added to it in a 1:1 ratio it turns within 30 to 45 minutes into a completely solid and firm material. The painting process can therefore only take place within these 30 to 45 minutes. Due to the material the painting process is naturally at first very dynamic and becomes very and calm towards the end. When painting with resin\, the color saturation plays a central role\, which means the decision about how transparent and translucent or how covering the resin will get is decisive. This depends amount of color pigments added to the resin without any limit how saturated it gets in the end. Alcohol ink on the other hand can only be added up to a maximum of 10% of the total volume\, otherwise the resin would become rubbery instead of hard. \n  \nOnce several colored resins are created each in cups they are simply poured onto the white painting board the same as in other “fluid art” techniques. Then the tilting and using a straw or a hair dryer takes place to move around the resin on the surface. The essential effects happen mostly when the resin is still liquid\, because then the resin still reacts easily to any interventions. By using a small heat gun various fascinating circular structures start to appear still changing a little by themselves. In the end the heat will seal the surface properly by making many tiny air bubbles vanish underneath the surface. From the heat the resin changes from being milky to being clear and shiny. So in the end what you see are numerous transparent and luminous layers of paint lying in and on top of each other. They can be changed subtly until they simply will stop moving. \n  \n• This is not a classic PaintEvent for a specific painting with step by step instructions. Instead\, Anastasia will explain this technique so you can create two of your own creations from resin and mainly be completely present during this dynamic and in the same time very calm process. \n• No prior Painting experience necessary \n• All Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price. \n• In the end you have two paintings made of resin that have to dry overnight.​ ​We will provide boxes so you can take your paintings home right away. They need to be transported horizontally but it should be no problem to take them on public transport. \n• Material: different color pigments\, various resin colorants from EliChem\, acrylic paints\, glitter and alcohol inks\, two MDF plates (23x23cm and 24x30cm) and MasterCast resin non-toxic free from solvents for easy and safe application by EliChem directly available at our Online Shop. \n• Good to know: Plastic gloves are always needed when working with resin from measuring to finished paintings to protect hands\, except when using hair dryers for manipulation and heat guns for sealing the paintings. The room is always well ventilated while working with resin. A breathing mask is not needed at this workshop based on the small amount of resin used in our very spacious studio with a number limited to 10 participants. It would only be of importance if you would further experiment with very large paintings at home. Although the resin we use is certified non-toxic\, out of extra caution\, we do not recommend this workshop for pregnant women. \n• Additional material available on request \n• Language of Instruction: English & German \n• Duration of the event: approx. 3h \n• We will start the instructions at 6:30 PM\, please come a few minutes ahead of time. Unsere Künstlerin startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\nWe have been wanting to offer you this workshop for quite some time now. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n • The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing. \n• Please bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored. \n•  Included materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. Bei einem PaintEvent erstellst du mit der Unterstützung von lokalen Künstlern dein eigenes Kunstwerk\, das du am Ende des Abends mit nach Hause nimmst. Im Vordergrund stehen Entspannung\, die Freude am Malen und die Entfaltung deiner Kreativität. \n  \nÜber diesen Workshop:\nKomm vorbei und nimm teil an unserem spannenden Workshop\, der sich auf den innovativen Einsatz von Malspachteln und Strukturpaste zur Schaffung beeindruckender abstrakter Landschaften konzentriert. Der Workshop findet in einer professionellen\, aber entspannten Atmosphäre statt und ist für Kunstbegeisterte aller Erfahrungsstufen geeignet. \n  \nWichtige Lernziele:\n\nGrundlagen der Malspachtel-Technik: Erlerne Präzision und Feingefühl im Umgang mit Malspachteln für verschiedene Anwendungen.\nEinführung in Strukturpaste: Lerne die Feinheiten\, um deinem Kunstwerk Textur und Tiefe zu verleihen.\nFortgeschrittene Farbtheorie: Tauche ein in strategische Farbkombinationen\, um deine Landschaften zum Leben zu erwecken.\nPrinzipien der abstrakten Komposition: Entdecke die Techniken\, um eine ausgewogene und ansprechende abstrakte Landschaft zu schaffen.\n\n  \n• Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Wenn jemand Anfänger ist\, werden wir das Event mit einer kurzen Einführung über Acrylmalerei starten! \n• 1 Leinwände (40x30cm) und alle Materialien werden von uns bereitgestellt und sind im Preis inbegriffen \n• Material: Hochwertige Acrylfarben von Fleury-Art.ch \n• Die Farben sind nicht so deine? Kein Problem\, wir haben alle Farben im Studio! \n• Sprache: Je nach Gruppe Englisch oder Deutsch \nSie können Ihre Bilder in einer Papiertüte (getrocknete Bilder) oder einem Pizzakarton (feuchte Bilder) mit nach Hause nehmen \n  \nBitte beachte\, dass wir dieses Event nur durchführen\, wenn sich mindestens 4 Personen spätestens 48h vor dem Event online angemeldet haben. Conducted in a professional yet relaxed environment\, this workshop is designed for art enthusiasts at all levels. \n\nKey Learning Objectives:\n\nFundamentals of Palette Knife Technique: Acquire precision and finesse in using palette knives for various applications.\nIntroduction to Structure Paste: Learn the intricacies of adding texture and depth to your artwork.\nAdvanced Color Theory: Delve into strategic color combinations to bring your landscapes to life.\nAbstract Composition Principles: Explore the techniques to create a balanced and eye-catching abstract landscape.\n\n  \n• No Prior Painting Experience Necessary \n• If there are any beginners\, we will start the event with a short introduction about acrylic painting! \n• 1 canvas (40x30cm) and all Painting Materials provided and included in the Ticket Price \n• Medium: Premium Acrylic Paint by Fleury-Art.ch  \n• The colours are not your favourite? No problem\, we’ve got a lot of other colours for you to pick! \n• Language of Instruction: English or German\, depending on the group \n  \nPlease note: You can take your paintings back home with paper bag(dried painting) or pizza box (wet painting).This event will take place only if at least 4 people sign up 48hrs before the event. In case of cancellation\, guests with a ticket will get a notification via email. The ticket can be refunded completely or rescheduled. \n

DESCRIPTION:  \n— Deutsch —(EN below) \n  \nUnd… ACTION! Erlebe beim Action Painting eine befreiende und kreative Auszeit\nDiesen Workshop wollen wir Euch bereits seit geraumer Zeit anbieten. Mit dem neuen Studio an der Limmatstrasse 73 ist es jetzt endlich so weit. Dort haben wir einen ganzen Bereich des Ateliers dem Action Painting gewidmet\, in dem Ihr Euch sorglos mit Pinseln\, Spritzpistolen und weiteren Utensilien austoben könnt. Unsere Künstlerin startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n  \n • Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Inklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). Dennoch empfehlen wir Euch\, nicht in Eurer feinsten Kleidung zu kommen. \n• Bitte bringt ein Paar alte Socken oder nehmt in Kauf\, dass Eure Socken etwas farbig werden. \n• Inklusivmaterial: 1 Stk. 30x40cm Leinwand zum Üben. 1 Stk. 40x50cm Leinwand. Alle Farben und Utensilien. \n• Upgrade-Optionen: Du möchtest grössere Formate erstellen? Schau Dir unsere Upgrade Preisliste fürs Action Painting an. Ein Upgrade auf 50x70cm ist grundsätzlich immer möglich. Grössere Formate sind bei voll belegten Kursen ggf. aus Platzgründen nicht möglich aber Deine Künstlerin gibt Dir dazu vor Ort gerne Auskunft. \n• Dauer: ca. 2 bis 2.5h \n• Hinweis: Wahrscheinlich werden Eure Werke am Ende der Session noch zu nass für einen sicheren Transport sein. Ihr könnt sie dann bei uns trocknen lassen und eine Abholung vereinbaren oder nach der Session unseren Versandservice (bis 40x50cm\, Versand von grösseren Formaten auf Anfrage). \n  \nBitte beachte\, dass wir dieses Event nur durchführen\, wenn sich mindestens 4 Personen spätestens 48h vor dem Event online angemeldet haben. Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\nWe have been wanting to offer you this workshop for quite some time now. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n • The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing. \n• Please bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored. \n•  Included materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. All paints and utensils. \n• Upgrade Options: Want to create larger artworks or additional ones? Check out our UPGRADE pricelist for action painting. Upgrades to 50x70cm are generally always possible; larger formats might not be possible in fully booked sessions but you can always check with your artist. \n• Duration: approx. 2 to 2.5h \n• Note: Most likely your artworks won’t be dry enough to be safely transported at the end of the session. You can leave them to dry at our studio and arrange a pick-up time or book our shipping service after the session (up to 40x50cm canvas size\, shipping of larger sizes upon request). \n  \nPlease note that we will only hold this event if at least 4 people have registered online at least 48h before the event. In case of a cancellation from our side\, guests who hold a ticket will be informed by mail and the ticket will be either rebooked or completely refunded as desired.
