DESCRIPTION:  \n— English — \n  \nEnjoy a Fun and Colorful Evening in Zurich!\nCreativity Workshop is a painting workshop series to introduce the basic techniques of Modern Abstract Painting. Abstract painting is a wonderful gateway for satisfying artistic expression. You can work with colors\, dots\, lines\, shapes and textures and create a personal visual rhythm in a painting but you can also feel free and work in the intuitive way\, gestural\, you also can explore all different kinds of techniques. \nThe workshop series include four sections: Grisaille\, Layering\, Blending and Sgraffito \, at each section you will learn a specific technique which will help you to achieve a new level for your abstract learning process …… on every second Monday\, Rolando\, our friend\, host and artist from Cuba is looking forward to assist you to enjoy this new creative experience.You don’t necessarily need to participate the workshops in sequence. Every workshop is an individual section. \n  \nAbout Today’s workshop – Grisaille  \nGrisaille underpainting is a painting technique in which a composition is constructed completely in tones of grey. It is often used for underpainting\, since it establishes light values underneath transparent glazes. There are multiple approaches to making an underpainting. A Grisaille is the simplest form\, done with just black and white. Other forms include Verdaccio (done with shades of green)\, Brunaille (shades of brown). Using a grisaille makes it easy to have true darks in your painting. \n  \nThis event is limited to a maximum of 10 people per session to ensure a calm atmosphere and optimal guidance. \nFind more about Rolando’s work here. \n  \nPlease note: This is not a typical “guided event”. There will be no step-by-step instructions for a particular painting. Instead\, Rolando will show you techniques and tricks and encourage you to paint intuitively and freely. Also\, this event takes place during our studio opening hours\, we might have some open painting guests as well at the other table. \n  \n• No prior Painting experience necessary\, we’ll provide options for all levels \n•  1 canvas and all Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price. Unsere Künstlerin startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n • The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing. \n• Please bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored. \n•  Included materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. All paints and utensils. \n• Upgrade Options: Want to create larger artworks or additional ones? Check out our UPGRADE pricelist for action painting. Bei diesem Event wird es romantisch: Wir malen Gustav Klimts Die Umarmung. Er liebte die Kunst\, das Leben und die Frauen: Gustav Klimt war nicht nur einer der wichtigsten Vertreter des Jugendstils\, sondern auch ein wahrer Genussmensch. Wir wissen zwar nicht genau\, ob Gustav Klimt auch ein grosser Sekt-Liebhaber war\, aber ganz bestimmt hätte er genossen\, dich auf ein Glas einzuladen. Und das übernehmen wir jetzt: Wir laden dich ein\, beim Guided Painting mehr über Klimts Kunst zu erfahren\, selbst zu malen und mit einem Glas Schaumwein aus Österreich anzustossen.  \nDu hast aber seit der Primar nicht mehr gemalt? Kein Problem! Unsere Kurse sind für jedes Level gedacht. Wir stellen alle Materialien bereit und setzen die Freude am Malen an erste Stelle. Dort haben wir einen ganzen Bereich des Ateliers dem Action Painting gewidmet\, in dem Ihr Euch sorglos mit Pinseln\, Spritzpistolen und weiteren Utensilien austoben könnt. Unsere Künstlerin startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n  \n • Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Inklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\nWe have been wanting to offer you this workshop for quite some time now. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n • The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing. \n• Please bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored. \n•  Included materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. DESCRIPTION:  \n— Deutsch — \n  \n\nDieser Workshop ist ein Hands-On Schnupperkurs und der perfekte Einstieg in die “Resin Kunst”. In diesem Workshop wird unsere Künstlerin Euch die grundlegenden Techniken zeigen und Euch Schritt für Schritt anleiten\, wir Ihr Schicht für Schicht einen Strand kreiert. Es werden mehrere Schichten von Harz in verschiedenen Blautönen gegossen werden und anschliessend wird mit einer weissen Schicht abgeschlossen. Diese Schicht manipuliert Ihr dann mit Luft und Schwerkraft bis Sie an Meeresschaum erinnert. Dieses Beach-Motiv eignet sich perfekt\, um Resin-Kunst zu entdecken: Die Klarheit\, Konsistenz und der Glanz von Resin geben das Aussehen von Wasser auf eine Weise wieder\, die man mit keinem anderen Medium erreichen kann. Unsere Künstlerin wird Euch zeigen\, wie einfach es ist\, Eure eigene atemberaubende Ozean-Landschaft zu erschaffen. \n  \n\n\n\n\n• Perfekt für Anfänger: Keine vorherige Erfahrung mit Resin notwendig. \n• Alle Materialien werden gestellt und sind im Ticketpreis enthalten. \n• Material: 1 Holzplatte (28cmx14.7cm mit Handgriff ) oder 1 Holzleinwand (20.5cm Durchmesser) und MasterCast Resin von EliChem (ungiftig und frei von Lösungsmitteln für eine einfache und sichere Anwendung\, auch in unserem Online Shop erhältlich)\, verschiedene Farbpigmente. \n• Wichtig: Um eine optimale Trocknung ohne Verfliessen zu garantieren\, empfehlen wir\, dass Ihr die Werke über Nacht bei uns im Atelier lasst und später abholen kommt. At this workshop our artist  will show you the basic techniques to create a beautiful realistic beach art. It is an easy process that involves pouring layers of resin in various shades of blue\, then finishing with a layer of white that gets pushed around by air and gravity to create a lacing effect reminiscent of sea foam. Resin is essential to creating realistic ocean art: it is clarity\, consistency and gloss replicate the look of water in a way you simply can’t get with any other medium. Our artist will demonstrate how easy it is to create your own stunning ocean art\, specially for beginners. \n  \n• No prior experience with resin necessary \n• All Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price. \n• Material: 1 wooden board with handle (14.7cm x 28cm) or One Wooden board (20.5cm diameter)\,  MasterCast Resin by EliChem (non-toxic free from solvents for easy and safe application\, also available in our Online Shop)\, different color pigments. \n• Important: For optimal drying process and avoiding any changes to your painting\, we recommend that you leave your artwork in the studio at least overnight and pick it up at later. Alternatively we can also choose our shipping service \n• Good to know: Plastic gloves are always needed when working with resin from measuring to finished paintings to protect hands. The room is always well ventilated while working with resin. A special breathing mask is not needed at this workshop based on the small amount of resin used in our very spacious studio and the limited participant number. DESCRIPTION:— English — \n  \nEnjoy a Fun and Relaxing Watercolor Workshop in Zurich!\nTry something new and treat yourself to a colorful night out. During a PaintEvent one of our local artists supports you in creating your very own masterpiece (for you to take home). The goal is to create a fun and stress-free environment for you to slow down and let your creativity flow. \n  \nAbout the workshop:\nWe are more than happy to welcome Alena to be our guest host for this special watercolor event. Together we will paint this beautiful painting using wet on wet technique. The process is broken down into easy steps. The wet paint is laid on wet or damp paper\, the colours flow and blend into one another in beautiful\, unexpected ways\, creating a diffused effect. Let your creativity flow! \n  \n • No Prior Painting Experience Necessary – Step by Step Guidance through the whole process. \n• Frist time or frequent painters – all kind of questions are more than welcome! Our host will be happy to assist and chat. Inspiration is all around 🙂 \n•  All Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price. The original size is A4. If you prefer\, we have A5\, A6 and A3 as well. \n•  If you finish earlier: why not paint a 2nd one? no extra cost 🙂 \n•  You like the subject of the painting but not the colors? No problem\, we always keep all colors ready. Our host is happy to show you how to create your desired color tone! \n• Language of Instruction: English \n \nBitte beachte\, dass wir dieses Event nur durchführen\, wenn sich mindestens 4 Personen spätestens 48h vor dem Event online angemeldet haben. Im Falle einer Absage werden die Gäste mit einem Ticket per Mail informiert und das Ticket wird nach Wunsch entweder umgebucht oder komplett zurückerstattet. \n  \n— Deutsch — \n  \nErlebe einen entspannenden Abend mit Wasserfarben!\nGönn dir eine kreative Auszeit und probier etwas Neues. Bei einem PaintEvent erstellst du mit der Unterstützung von lokalen Künstlern dein eigenes Kunstwerk\, das du am Ende des Abends mit nach Hause nimmst. Im Vordergrund stehen Entspannung\, die Freude am Malen und die Entfaltung deiner Kreativität. \n  \n• Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Hast du noch nie gemalt? Malst du die ganze Zeit? Fragen und Ideen zum Austausch sind herzlich willkommen! Inspiration findest du links und rechts 🙂 \n• Alle Malmaterialien werden von uns bereitgestellt und sind im Preis inbegriffen. Die Grösse vom Originalbild ist A4. Gerne kannst du A6-A3 kostenfrei beziehen! \n• Für die schnelleren unter uns: Male noch ein zweites Bild! (ohne extra Kosten:)) \n• Das Event wird auf Englisch geleitet. \n• Du magst das Motiv aber die Farben gefallen dir nicht? Kein Problem\, wir haben immer viele Farben im Studio und zeigen dir\, wie dein gewünschter Farbton gemischt werden kann!. \n  \nPlease note: This event will take place only if at least 4 people sign up 48hrs before the event.
