Mit dem neuen Studio an der Limmatstrasse 73 ist es jetzt endlich so weit. Dort haben wir einen ganzen Bereich des Ateliers dem Action Painting gewidmet\, in dem Ihr Euch sorglos mit Pinseln\, Spritzpistolen und weiteren Utensilien austoben könnt. Unsere Künstlerin startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n  \n • Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Inklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\nWe have been wanting to offer you this workshop for quite some time now. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n • The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing. \n• Please bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored. \n•  Included materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. All paints and utensils. \n• Upgrade Options: Want to create larger artworks or additional ones? Check out our UPGRADE pricelist for action painting. Join us for an artistic exploration and leave with the skills and confidence to continue making gel prints on your own. \nIn this workshop\, you’ll dive into the process of gel printing\, using a gelatin-like plate to make prints without the need for a press. Gel printing is known for its versatility and the ability to produce stunning\, multi-layered results that are impossible to achieve with traditional printing methods. Our artist will guide you through every step of the process\, from setting up your materials to pulling your final print. \n\nWhat to Expect:\n\nIntroduction to Gel Printing: Learn what gel printing is and why it’s a unique and accessible form of printmaking. Understand the materials needed\, including the gel plate\, brayers\, paper\, and acrylic paints.\nPreparing Your Plate: Discover how to prepare your gel plate for printing\, including applying paint\, creating textures\, and using stencils or found objects to add intriguing patterns and depth to your prints.\nLayering Techniques: Master the art of layering colors and patterns to create complex\, richly textured prints. DESCRIPTION:  \n— Deutsch — \n  \n\nDieser Workshop ist ein Hands-On Schnupperkurs und der perfekte Einstieg in die “Resin Kunst”. In diesem Workshop wird unsere Künstlerin Euch die grundlegenden Techniken zeigen und Euch Schritt für Schritt anleiten\, wie Ihr Schicht für Schicht einen Regenbogen-Ozean kreiert. Es werden mehrere Schichten von Harz in verschiedenen Farben gegossen werden\, die zusammen einen wunderschönen Regenbogen-Effekt erzeugen. Zum Abschluss wird mit einer weissen Schicht gearbeitet\, die Ihr dann mit Luft und Schwerkraft manipuliert\, bis sie an Meeresschaum erinnert. \nDieses farbenfrohe Ozean-Motiv eignet sich perfekt\, um Resin-Kunst zu entdecken: Die Klarheit\, Konsistenz und der Glanz von Resin geben das Aussehen von Wasser auf eine Weise wieder\, die man mit keinem anderen Medium erreichen kann. Unsere Künstlerin wird Euch zeigen\, wie einfach es ist\, Eure eigene atemberaubende Regenbogen-Ozean-Landschaft zu erschaffen. \n  \n\n\n\n\n• Perfekt für Anfänger: Keine vorherige Erfahrung mit Resin notwendig. \n• Alle Materialien werden gestellt und sind im Ticketpreis enthalten. \n• Material: 1 Holzplatte (28cmx14.7cm mit Handgriff ) oder 1 Holzleinwand (20.5cm Durchmesser) und MasterCast Resin von EliChem (ungiftig und frei von Lösungsmitteln für eine einfache und sichere Anwendung\, auch in unserem Online Shop erhältlich)\, verschiedene Farbpigmente. \n• Wichtig: Um eine optimale Trocknung ohne Verfliessen zu garantieren\, empfehlen wir\, dass Ihr die Werke über Nacht bei uns im Atelier lasst und später abholen kommt. Alternativ bieten wir auch Verpackung und Versand \n• Gut zu wissen: Bei der Arbeit mit Kunstharz  sind immer Plastikhandschuhe erforderlich\, um die Hände zu schützen (stellen wir bereit). Wir stellen auch Schürzen zur Verfügung\, empfehlen Euch aber dennoch lieber ältere Kleidung anzuziehen. Der Raum ist während der Arbeit mit Harz immer gut belüftet. Eine spezielle Atemmaske ist bei diesem Workshop aufgrund der geringen Menge an Resin\, unserem sehr geräumigen Atelier und der begrenzten Teilnehmerzahl nicht erforderlich. Several layers of resin in different colors will be poured to create a beautiful rainbow effect. Finally\, a white layer will be added\, which you will manipulate with air and gravity until it resembles sea foam. \nThis colorful ocean motif is perfect for discovering resin art: the clarity\, consistency\, and shine of resin replicate the look of water in a way that no other medium can achieve. Our artist will show you how easy it is to create your own stunning rainbow ocean landscape\, specially for beginners. \n  \n• No prior experience with resin necessary \n• All Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price. \n• Material: 1 wooden board with handle (14.7cm x 28cm) or One Wooden board (20.5cm diameter)\,  MasterCast Resin by EliChem (non-toxic free from solvents for easy and safe application\, also available in our Online Shop)\, different color pigments. \n• Important: For optimal drying process and avoiding any changes to your painting\, we recommend that you leave your artwork in the studio at least overnight and pick it up at later. Alternatively we can also choose our shipping service \n• Good to know: Plastic gloves are always needed when working with resin from measuring to finished paintings to protect hands. The room is always well ventilated while working with resin. A special breathing mask is not needed at this workshop based on the small amount of resin used in our very spacious studio and the limited participant number. It involves considering how different colors interact with each other and how they can be used to create a balanced\, harmonious\, or contrasting effect. Color composition is an essential aspect of visual arts\, graphic design\, interior design\, and many other creative fields. It’s all about understanding the relationships between colors and using them effectively to convey a particular mood\, message\, or aesthetic appeal. \nFind more about Rolando’s work here. \n  \nPlease note: This is not a typical “guided event”. There will be no step-by-step instructions for a particular painting. Instead\, Rolando will show you techniques and tricks and encourage you to paint intuitively and freely. SUMMARY:Alcohol Ink Workshop
DESCRIPTION:  \n— Deutsch — \n  \nUnsere Künstlerin zeigt am Workshop wie mit Tinte und Alkohol auf YUPO\, einem aus Plastik recycelten synthetischen Papier\, gemalt werden kann. Tinte reagiert auf diesem ebenen und wasserdichten Papier ganz speziell auf Sprit\, der aus 90% Alkohol besteht. Dieser Vorgang führt zu erstaunlichen Ergebnissen. Genauer zersetzt der Alkohol die Tinte bis in die Pigmente hinein\, wodurch neue Farbnuancen in ein und derselben Farbe auftauchen können. Die flüssige Tinte gemischt mit Alkohol wird durch Wärme und Luft mit einem Föhn oder einem Strohhalm auf der Oberfläche bewegt bis sie ganz getrocknet ist. Dabei entstehen wunderschön leuchtende und etwas durchscheinende Farbschichten. Dieser Vorgang kann kontinuierlich wiederholt werden\, bis die Komposition stimmig wird. Die Oberfläche wird gelegentlich mit reinem Alkohol besprenkelt\, wodurch Formgebungen entstehen\, die an den Kosmos erinnern.  \nDies ist nicht ein klassischer PaintEvent für ein bestimmtes Bild mit Schritt für Schritt Anweisungen. Stattdessen wird unsere Kunstlerin diese Technik so erklären\, dass Sie drei eigene Bilder auf YUPO kreieren können und sich vor allem während diesem wunderbaren Prozess entspannen und inspirieren lassen können. \n  \n • Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Alle Materialien werden von uns bereitgestellt und sind im Preis inbegriffen \n• Am Schluss hast du 4 Kunstwerke (jeweils bis A4 Grösse) auf Spezialpapier \n• Neu: Wir bieten Schachteln an\, mit denen die Bilder direkt mit nach Hause genommen werden können. Im Falle einer Absage werden die Gäste mit einem Ticket per Mail informiert und das Ticket wird nach Wunsch entweder umgebucht oder komplett zurückerstattet. \n  \n— English — \n  \nAt the KOSMIC Workshop the artist Anastasia  will show you how to paint with ink and alcohol on YUPO\, a synthetic paper recycled from plastic. Ink reacts on this even and waterproof paper very fascinating to spirit that consists of 90% alcohol. This process leads to astonishing results. More specifically the alcohol decomposes the ink within the pigments\, allowing new shades of color to appear within the same color. The liquid ink mixed with alcohol is being moved by heat and air with a hair dryer or a straw on the surface until it becomes completely dry. This creates beautifully luminous and slightly translucent layers of paint. This procedure can be repeated continuously until the composition becomes harmonious for you. The surface is occasionally sprinkled with pure alcohol creating shapes reminding of the cosmos.  \nThis is not a classical PaintEvent for a particular painting with step by step instructions. Instead\, Anastasia a will explain this technique so you can create your own three unique paintings on YUPO and above all relax and be inspired during this beautiful process. \n• No prior Painting experience necessary \n• All Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price. \n• You will have 4 art pieces on special paper for alcohol ink (each up to A4 size). \n• New: We will provide boxes to take your paintings home right away. Ein tolles und spannendes Medium\, das dein Bild sofort interessanter macht. Die Elemente der Kunst sind Linie\, Form\, Komposition\, Raum\, Farbe und TEXTUR. Das letzte wird mit der Strukturpaste erzielt. \nIn diesem Kurs zeigt Angelika dir\, wie man die Pasten aufträgt\, mit Spachtel\, Messer oder Pinsel. Welche verschiedenen Strukturpasten es gibt\, feine oder grobe Körnung\, Pumice oder Pasten mit Glasteilchen. Alles was dein Herz begehrt. These structural pastes are a wonderful and exciting medium to make your painting more interesting. The element of arts are line\, shape\, form\, space \, color and TEXTURE. The structural paste will give you immediately texture. \nIn this class\, Angelika shows how to work with this medium. Spatula\, knife and paintbrush are the tools and there are different kind of pastes like pumice\, soft gel\, Glas bead gel etc. After you apply this wonderful medium \,you paint with acrylic or even watercolor over it.
