DESCRIPTION:  \n\n  \n\n— English — \nEnjoy a Fun and Colorful Evening in Zurich!\nCreativity Workshop is a painting workshop series to introduce the basic techniques of Modern Abstract Painting. Abstract painting is a wonderful gateway for satisfying artistic expression. You can work with colors\, dots\, lines\, shapes and textures and create a personal visual rhythm in a painting but you can also feel free and work in the intuitive way\, gestural\, you also can explore all different kinds of techniques. \nThe workshop series include six sections: Grisaille\, Layering\, Blending\, Sgraffito\, Stippling and Wet on Wet \, at each section you will learn a specific technique which will help you to achieve a new level for your abstract learning process …… on every second Monday\, Rolando\, our friend\, host and artist from Cuba is looking forward to assist you to enjoy this new creative experience. You don’t necessarily need to participate the workshops in sequence. Every workshop is an individual section. \nAbout Today’s workshop – Blending  \nBlending is the technique of gently intermingling two or more colors or values to create a gradual transition or to soften lines. \nBlending is a great way to create a gradual transition from one color to another and is very useful in creating the finer details. \nOne of the most common blending methods occurs as you’re applying the paint. For this technique\, you will apply a small swatch of each color to the painting\, then use your brush to create the desired gradation. It’s a great way to create a very subtle transition. \nThis event is limited to a maximum of 10 people per session to ensure a calm atmosphere and optimal guidance. \nFind more about Rolando’s work here. \nPlease note: This is not a typical “guided event”. There will be no step-by-step instructions for a particular painting. Instead\, Rolando will show you techniques and tricks and encourage you to paint intuitively and freely. Also\, this event takes place during our studio opening hours\, we might have some open painting guests as well at the other table. \n  \n• No prior Painting experience necessary\, we’ll provide options for all levels \n• 1 canvas and all Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price. Our standard canvas size is 30x40cm\, but you can upgrade to another size (e.g. 40x50cm\, round 50cm\, square 40cm) for 5-12CHF \n• Additional Canvas available at the studio (15-20Fr\, paint incl.) \n• Language of Instruction: English & Español \n  \nThis workshop is in English and Español. DESCRIPTION:  \n— Deutsch —(EN below) \n  \nUnd… ACTION! Erlebe beim Action Painting eine befreiende und kreative Auszeit\nDiesen Workshop wollen wir Euch bereits seit geraumer Zeit anbieten. Mit dem neuen Studio an der Limmatstrasse 73 ist es jetzt endlich so weit. Dort haben wir einen ganzen Bereich des Ateliers dem Action Painting gewidmet\, in dem Ihr Euch sorglos mit Pinseln\, Spritzpistolen und weiteren Utensilien austoben könnt. Unsere Künstlerin startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n  \n • Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Inklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\nWe have been wanting to offer you this workshop for quite some time now. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n • The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing. \n• Please bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored. \n•  Included materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. All paints and utensils. \n• Upgrade Options: Want to create larger artworks or additional ones? Check out our UPGRADE pricelist for action painting. Upgrades to 50x70cm are generally always possible; larger formats might not be possible in fully booked sessions but you can always check with your artist. \n• Duration: approx. 2 to 2.5h \n• Note: Most likely your artworks won’t be dry enough to be safely transported at the end of the session. Im Vordergrund stehen Entspannung\, die Freude am Malen und die Entfaltung deiner Kreativität. \n  \n • Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Keine Angst vor den Details und den Formen\, wir haben da unsere Tricks 🙂 \n• Wenn jemand Anfänger\, werden wir das Event mit eine kurze Einführung über Acrylmalerei starten! \n• Eine Leinwand (30x40cm) und alle Materialien werden von uns bereitgestellt und sind im Preis inbegriffen \n• Die Farben sind nicht so deine? Kein Problem\, wir haben alle Farben im Studio und du bist herzlich eingeladen und ermutigt\, deine eigenen Ideen auf Leinwand zu bringen! \n• Das Event wird je nach Bedarf der Gruppe auf Deutsch oder Englisch geleitet. \n  \n\n— English —\n  \nEnjoy a Fun evening with us!\nTry something new and treat yourself to a colorful time! During a PaintEvent one of our local artists supports you in creating your very own masterpiece (for your to take home). The goal is to create a fun and stress-free environment for you to slow down and let your creativity flow. \n  \n • No prior Painting or drawing experience necessary \n• No need to be afraid of the details and the shapes\, we’ll have little tricks ready for you – it’s all about relaxing! \n• All Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price (1 piece of 30x40cm canvas included) \n• You like this Style but not the colours? No problem\, you are welcome to paint anything you like and we have many different colour tones in the studio.  And we are happy to assist you in picking your preferred colour combination 🙂 \n•Language of Instruction: English or German\, depending on the need of the group \n  \nPlease note: This event will take place only if at least 4 people sign up 72hrs before the event. In case of cancellation from our side\, guests with a ticket will get a notification via email. The ticket can be refunded completely or rescheduled.
