Mit dem neuen Studio an der Limmatstrasse 73 ist es jetzt endlich so weit. Dort haben wir einen ganzen Bereich des Ateliers dem Action Painting gewidmet\, in dem Ihr Euch sorglos mit Pinseln\, Spritzpistolen und weiteren Utensilien austoben könnt. Unsere Künstlerin startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n  \n • Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Inklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\nWe have been wanting to offer you this workshop for quite some time now. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n • The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing. \n• Please bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored. \n•  Included materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. All paints and utensils. \n• Upgrade Options: Want to create larger artworks or additional ones? Check out our UPGRADE pricelist for action painting. Upgrades to 50x70cm are generally always possible; larger formats might not be possible in fully booked sessions but you can always check with your artist. \n• Duration: approx. 2 to 2.5h \n• Note: Most likely your artworks won’t be dry enough to be safely transported at the end of the session. In fact\, the hardest part of the day will be choosing which of these many textures to choose\, but don’t worry – we will be there\, every step of the way ! \nIndulge your artistic desires with our mesmerizing Resin Geode Art Workshop. Fun\, fabulous and totally addictive\, you’ll make 2 pieces of agate inspired wall art with us and\, what’s more\, it’s perfect for beginners and those looking to explore adding texture to their resin art. \nWonderfully therapeutic and oh so much fun\, our resin geode workshop offers a creative opportunity for all to create abstract pieces of art topped with handfuls of luscious textures. \nYou have the option of taking your masterpieces home with you or we can package and ship them to you a few days later. \n  \nWhat you will learn:\n  \n\nCreate stunning geode art using a variety of dynamic pouring techniques\nMeasure\, mix and add colour to your resin\nCreate uniformed free pours\nManipulate the resin to create different visual effects\, including using floating metal techniques\nEncourage pigment interactions such as cell formation\nAdd oodles of embellishments such as crustal chippings\, nuggets and flakes\nAchieve a perfect finish\, removing any bubbles that appear\nUse tips\, trade secrets and techniques\nMake use of leftover resin\n\n  \n• No Prior Painting Experience Necessary. If it’s your very first time painting\, you might wanna calculate a bit more time to finish the painting. Also\, we recommend to skip a detail or two and/or call for assistance when you need! \n• Step by Step Instructions\, but you are always welcome to paint something else! \n• 2 wooden boards (23x23cm\, 0.5cm thick) and all Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price \n• Medium: Premium alcohol ink and resin materials . \n• Language of Instruction: English \n• Duration of the Event: ca 3hrs \n• Good to know: Plastic gloves are always needed when working with resin from measuring to finished paintings to protect hands. The room is always well ventilated while working with resin. A special breathing mask is not needed at this workshop based on the small amount of resin used in our very spacious studio and the limited participant number. Although the resin we use is certified non-toxic\, out of extra caution\, we do not recommend this workshop for pregnant women and kids. \nImportant: For optimal drying process and avoiding any changes to your painting\, we recommend that you leave your artwork in the studio at least overnight and pick it up at later. In diesem Workshop wird unsere Künstlerin Euch die grundlegenden Techniken zeigen und Euch Schritt für Schritt anleiten\, wir Ihr Schicht für Schicht einen Strand kreiert (Einschließlich der Anordnung des Sandstrands und der Muscheln) . Es werden mehrere Schichten von Harz in verschiedenen Blautönen gegossen werden und anschliessend wird mit einer weissen Schicht abgeschlossen. Diese Schicht manipuliert Ihr dann mit Luft und Schwerkraft bis Sie an Meeresschaum erinnert. Dieses Beach-Motiv eignet sich perfekt\, um Resin-Kunst zu entdecken: Die Klarheit\, Konsistenz und der Glanz von Resin geben das Aussehen von Wasser auf eine Weise wieder\, die man mit keinem anderen Medium erreichen kann. At this workshop our artist  will show you the basic techniques to create a beautiful realistic beach art (including how to arrange the sandy beach and seashells) . It is an easy process that involves pouring layers of resin in various shades of blue\, then finishing with a layer of white that gets pushed around by air and gravity to create a lacing effect reminiscent of sea foam. Resin is essential to creating realistic ocean art: it is clarity\, consistency and gloss replicate the look of water in a way you simply can’t get with any other medium. Our artist will demonstrate how easy it is to create your own stunning ocean art\, specially for beginners. \n  \n• No prior experience with resin necessary \n• All Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price. \n• Material: One Wooden board (25cm diameter)\,  MasterCast Resin by EliChem (non-toxic free from solvents for easy and safe application\, also available in our Online Shop)\, different color pigments. \n• Important: For optimal drying process and avoiding any changes to your painting\, we recommend that you leave your artwork in the studio at least overnight and pick it up at later. DESCRIPTION:— Deutsch — \n  \nDie Künstlerin Janka zeigt in ihrem STRUCTURES Workshop\, wie sie mit verschiedensten Strukturpasten und Salz auf Leinwand malt. Sie zeigt vor\, wie die Strukturpasten und das Salz mit Acrylfarbe und Tinte eingefärbt werden und mit dem Spachtel in den zuvor gemalten Farbverlauf hinein gearbeitet werden. Die verschiedensten Strukturen; trocken bis flüssig\, fein bis grobkörnig\, matt bis glänzend\, bieten alle eine zusätzliche faszinierende\, haptische und etwas dreidimensionale Ebene zur Farbkomposition und Formgebung. Bei der abstrakten Malerei spielt die eigene Farbpalette eine wichtige Rolle und wird hier in der seriellen Arbeitsweise auf zwei Leinwänden von der Künstlerin angeleitet\, individuell erarbeitet. Eingefärbte Struktur-Schichten werden solange hinzugefügt\, bis die Kompositionen stimmig werden. Die Werke können schlussendlich an etwas ganz Natürliches wie zum Beispiel Gesteine in den Gebirgen oder an Rost-Effekte erinnern\, bleiben aber natürlich ein sehr offenes abstraktes Bild.  \nDies ist kein klassischer PaintEvent für ein bestimmtes Bild mit Schritt für Schritt Anweisungen. She demonstrates how the structural pastes and salt are colored with acrylic paint and ink and added with the spatula into the previously painted color gradient. The wide variety of textures possible; dry to liquid\, fine to coarse grained\, matte to glossy\, all offer an additional fascinating\, tactile and  a bit three-dimensional layer to the color composition and shaping. In abstract painting\, one’s own color palette plays an important role and is here individually focused on in the serial way of working on two canvases guided by the artist. Colored structure layers are added until the compositions become coherent. The works can finally remind of something very natural such as rocks in the mountains or rust effects\, but of course they remain open abstract paintings.  \nThis is not a classic PaintEvent for a specific motive with step by step instructions. I will guide you through every step. \n\nWhat you will learn:\n\nThe use of structure paste \nAdding colors\, shades and lights to the structure paste\nWorking with resin \n\n  \n\nNo Prior Painting Experience Necessary. If it’s your very first time painting\, you might wanna calculate a bit more time to finish the painting. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n • The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing. \n• Please bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored. \n•  Included materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. All paints and utensils. \n• Upgrade Options: Want to create larger artworks or additional ones? Check out our UPGRADE pricelist for action painting. A table\, high quality MasterCast resin\, pigments and everything else needed is included in the ticket price. \n  \nInfo about the table: We always have a range of tables roughly measuring 40x40x40 cm available (some are slightly taller). Their style is approximately similar to the image above. The frame colors of the available tables may vary\, but they are usually black\, brown\, or white. \n  \nInfo on working with resin: Although we provide aprons and gloves\, there is some risk to clothing when working with resin\, so we don’t recommend coming with your favorite t-shirt. Dort haben wir einen ganzen Bereich des Ateliers dem Action Painting gewidmet\, in dem Ihr Euch sorglos mit Pinseln\, Spritzpistolen und weiteren Utensilien austoben könnt. Unsere Künstlerin startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n  \n • Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Inklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\nWe have been wanting to offer you this workshop for quite some time now. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n • The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing. \n• Please bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored. \n•  Included materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. All paints and utensils. \n• Upgrade Options: Want to create larger artworks or additional ones? Check out our UPGRADE pricelist for action painting. DESCRIPTION:  \n— Deutsch —(EN below) \n  \nAction Painting für Kids – Kreativität Spielerisch Entdecken\n  \nWarum haben Kinder eigentlich so viel Spass am Malen? Die Antwort ist einfach: das Malen ermöglicht es ihnen\, sich frei auszudrücken\, ihre Emotionen und Gefühle mitzuteilen\, ihre Talente und Besonderheiten zu erkunden. Mit dem Action Painting für Kids bieten wir einen einzigartigen Workshop an\, der in dieser Form wohl in keinem Klassenzimmer möglich ist. Wir haben in unserem neuen Atelier einen grossen Bereich nur fürs Action Painting eingerichtet\, wo Kids mit Pinseln\, Schwämmen und anderen Werkzeugen spritzen\, sprühen und wirbeln können. Es geht dabei darum  spielerisch Erfahrungen mit Farben und Formen zu sammeln\, ohne sich auf das Endprodukt zu konzentrieren. Zusätzlich schalten wir das UV-Licht ein\, so dass die Kinder eine lebhafte Explosion von Farben erleben können\, die im Dunkeln leuchten und atemberaubende\, leuchtende Kunstwerke schaffen. \nUnser Künstler*in startet mit einer Einführung in die Grundlagen und zeigt dann verschiedene Techniken. Danach können die Kids loslegen und ihre ganz individuellen Meisterwerke auf einer hochwertigen 30x40cm Leinwand kreieren. \n  \nP.S. Das Neonmalen im Dunkeln ist der letzte Teil der Action-Painting-Session (ca.30min) und ist optional. Je nach individuellem Wunsch kann das Kind diesen Teil überspringen und bei Tageslicht weiter malen. \n  \n • Der Event ist für Kids von 6 bis 12 Jahren geeignet – keine Vorkenntnisse nötig. Der Workshop ist nur für Kinder gedacht und Eltern können in unserer Lounge (wo wir ein kleines Selbstbedienungs-Café haben) entspannen oder einen Spaziergang durch die Nachbarschaft machen. \n• Wir haben verschiedene Schutzschürzen und -hemden\, empfehlen aber trotzdem\, dass dein Kind Kleidung trägt\, die im schlimmsten Fall farbig werden darf. We think that it is because this process allows them to express themselves in a free way\, to communicate their emotions and feelings and to explore their talents and specialties. With the Action Painting for Kids\, we offer a unique workshop that you won’t find in any classroom. We’ve set up a large area in our new studio specifically for Action Painting\, where kids can splash\, spray\, and swirl with brushes\, sponges\, and other tools. The focus is on playfully experimenting with colors and shapes without concentrating on the final product. Additionally\, we will also turn on the UV light\, the kids can experience a vibrant explosion of colors glowing brilliantly in the dark to create stunning\, luminous artworks. \nOur artist will kick things off with an intro to the basics and then show various cool techniques. After that it’s time for the kids to dive in and create their masterpieces on a premium 30x40cm canvas. \n  \nP.S. The Neon Painting in the dark will be last part of the Action Painting session (ca.30mins) and it is optional. According to individual request\, the kid can skip this part and continue to paint under the daylight. \n  \n • The event is suitable for kids from 6 to 12 years old – no previous experience is required. The workshop is intended for kids only and parents may hang out in our lounge (where we have a small self-service Café) or enjoy a stroll through the neighbourhood. \n• We have various protective aprons and shirts\, etc but we nevertheless recommend that your kid comes in some clothing that may get colorful. In particular an old pair of socks is highly recommended as these will almost definitely get paint on them. \n•  Included materials: One premium quality 30x40cm canvas for your kid to keep.
