Join us for an artistic exploration and leave with the skills and confidence to continue making gel prints on your own. \nIn this workshop\, you’ll dive into the process of gel printing\, using a gelatin-like plate to make prints without the need for a press. Gel printing is known for its versatility and the ability to produce stunning\, multi-layered results that are impossible to achieve with traditional printing methods. Our artist will guide you through every step of the process\, from setting up your materials to pulling your final print. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat to Expect:\n\nIntroduction to Gel Printing: Learn what gel printing is and why it’s a unique and accessible form of printmaking. Understand the materials needed\, including the gel plate\, brayers\, paper\, and acrylic paints.\nPreparing Your Plate: Discover how to prepare your gel plate for printing\, including applying paint\, creating textures\, and using stencils or found objects to add intriguing patterns and depth to your prints.\nLayering Techniques: Master the art of layering colors and patterns to create complex\, richly textured prints. DESCRIPTION:  \n— Deutsch —(EN below) \n  \nUnd… ACTION! Erlebe beim Action Painting eine befreiende und kreative Auszeit\nDiesen Workshop wollen wir Euch bereits seit geraumer Zeit anbieten. Mit dem neuen Studio an der Limmatstrasse 73 ist es jetzt endlich so weit. Dort haben wir einen ganzen Bereich des Ateliers dem Action Painting gewidmet\, in dem Ihr Euch sorglos mit Pinseln\, Spritzpistolen und weiteren Utensilien austoben könnt. Unsere Künstlerin startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n  \nÜber diesen Workshop:\nMach dich bereit für Farbe\, Bewegung und pure kreative Energie! In dieser besonderen Action Painting Session kannst du dich zuerst mit der klassischen Splash-and-Throw-Technik austoben – und obendrauf etwas Neues ausprobieren: unseren Painting Spinner! \nErzeuge spektakuläre Effekte\, während du deine Leinwand drehst und die Farben zu faszinierenden Mustern verschmelzen. Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\nWe have been wanting to offer you this workshop for quite some time now. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). Im Vordergrund stehen Entspannung\, die Freude am Malen und die Entfaltung deiner Kreativität. Wie wäre es mit paar Farbspritzer oder einem satten königsblau als Hintergrund? An Werkzeugen wie Spachteln\, Schwämme\, Zahnbürsten… mangelt es auf jeden Fall nicht 🙂 Probieren geht über studieren! \n  \n\nDas Event ist für jeden geeignet! Wenn du noch gar nie gemalt hast\, könnte es sein\, dass du etwas länger brauchst bzw. wir empfehlen dir\, nicht allen Details nachzugehen. It focuses on the process of creating abstract lines and shapes that represent thoughts and emotions\, helping to foster creativity and self-reflection. \nThe technique involves using continuous lines that flow freely across the canvas\, often forming intricate patterns. As you draw\, you’re encouraged to let go of control and allow your subconscious to guide your hand. This can help release stress and promote a sense of calm\, making it a therapeutic practice as well. \nOnce you have your initial lines\, you can enhance your artwork by adding colors or additional elements\, transforming it into something visually striking while also being deeply personal. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n • The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing. \n• Please bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored. \n•  Included materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. All paints and utensils. \n• Upgrade Options: Want to create larger artworks or additional ones? Check out our UPGRADE pricelist for action painting. DESCRIPTION:  \nBitte beachten: Auch wenn wir ausschliesslich hochwertige Künstlerprodukte verwenden\, entstehen bei diesem Kurs gewisse Dämpfe im Raum. Aus diesem Grund ist der Kurs für schwangere Frauen\, Kinder unter 15 Jahren und Personen mit sensitiven Atemwegen oder Asthma nicht geeignet. Zudem erfordert das Material eine gewisse Geschicklichkeit\, was die Teilnahme für jüngere Kinder ebenfalls erschwert. Bitte beachte die Sicherheitshinweise direkt unter der Eventbeschreibung. \nPlease note: Although we exclusively use high-quality artist products\, this course generates certain fumes in the room. For this reason\, the course is not suitable for pregnant women\, children under the age of 15 and individuals with sensitive airways or asthma. Additionally\, handling the materials requires a certain level of skill\, which makes participation challenging for younger children. Please note the safety instructions directly below the event description. \n  \n— Deutsch — \n  \nAn unserem Resin-Workshop zeigt die Kunstlerin Janka Stemmle\, wie man abstrakte Werke mit glänzendem\, glasähnlichem Harz gestaltet. Der Prozess beginnt dynamisch und wird langsam ruhiger\, sobald sich das Material setzt. Die Farbsattigung ist entscheidend – Pigmente können frei hinzugefügt werden\, wahrend Alkohol-Tinte nur begrenzt eingesetzt wird\, damit das Harz hart bleibt. Sobald die gefarbten Harze gemischt sind\, werden sie auf die Platte gegossen und durch Kippen\, Luft oder Hitze bewegt. Solange das Harz noch flussig ist\, entstehen die schonsten Effekte: kreisformige Strukturen\, leuchtende Schichten und ein glanzendes\, klares Finish\, da die Hitze kleinste Luftblasen entfernt. \n  \n\n  \nDies ist nicht ein klassischer PaintEvent für ein bestimmtes Bild mit Schritt für Schritt Anweisungen. The process starts dynamic and slowly becomes calm as the material settles. Color saturation is key — pigments can be added freely\, while alcohol ink is limited to keep the resin hard. Once the colored resins are mixed\, they’re poured onto the board and moved with tilting\, air or heat. While still liquid\, the most beautiful effects appear: circular structures\, luminous layers and a glossy\, clear finish as the heat removes tiny air bubbles. \n\nThis is not a classic PaintEvent for a specific painting with step by step instructions. Die Antwort ist einfach: das Malen ermöglicht es ihnen\, sich frei auszudrücken\, ihre Emotionen und Gefühle mitzuteilen\, ihre Talente und Besonderheiten zu erkunden. Mit dem Action Painting für Kids bieten wir einen einzigartigen Workshop an\, der in dieser Form wohl in keinem Klassenzimmer möglich ist. Wir haben in unserem neuen Atelier einen grossen Bereich nur fürs Action Painting eingerichtet\, wo Kids mit Pinseln\, Schwämmen und anderen Werkzeugen spritzen\, sprühen und wirbeln können. Es geht dabei darum  spielerisch Erfahrungen mit Farben und Formen zu sammeln\, ohne sich auf das Endprodukt zu konzentrieren. Zusätzlich schalten wir das UV-Licht ein\, so dass die Kinder eine lebhafte Explosion von Farben erleben können\, die im Dunkeln leuchten und atemberaubende\, leuchtende Kunstwerke schaffen. \n  \nUnser Künstler*in startet mit einer Einführung in die Grundlagen und zeigt dann verschiedene Techniken. Danach können die Kids loslegen und ihre ganz individuellen Meisterwerke auf einer hochwertigen 30x40cm Leinwand kreieren. \n  \nP.S. Das Neonmalen im Dunkeln ist der letzte Teil der Action-Painting-Session (ca.30min) und ist optional. Je nach individuellem Wunsch kann das Kind diesen Teil überspringen und bei Tageslicht weiter malen. \n  \n • Der Event ist für Kids von 6 bis 12 Jahren geeignet – keine Vorkenntnisse nötig. We think that it is because this process allows them to express themselves in a free way\, to communicate their emotions and feelings and to explore their talents and specialties. With the Action Painting for Kids\, we offer a unique workshop that you won’t find in any classroom. We’ve set up a large area in our new studio specifically for Action Painting\, where kids can splash\, spray\, and swirl with brushes\, sponges\, and other tools. The focus is on playfully experimenting with colors and shapes without concentrating on the final product. Additionally\, we will also turn on the UV light\, the kids can experience a vibrant explosion of colors glowing brilliantly in the dark to create stunning\, luminous artworks. \n  \nOur artist will kick things off with an intro to the basics and then show various cool techniques. After that it’s time for the kids to dive in and create their masterpieces on a premium 30x40cm canvas. \n  \nP.S. The Neon Painting in the dark will be last part of the Action Painting session (ca.30mins) and it is optional. According to individual request\, the kid can skip this part and continue to paint under the daylight. \n  \n • The event is suitable for kids from 6 to 12 years old – no previous experience is required. Mit dem neuen Studio an der Limmatstrasse 73 ist es jetzt endlich so weit. Dort haben wir einen ganzen Bereich des Ateliers dem Action Painting gewidmet\, in dem Ihr Euch sorglos mit Pinseln\, Spritzpistolen und weiteren Utensilien austoben könnt. Unsere Künstlerin startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n  \n\nDas Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt\nInklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). Dennoch empfehlen wir Euch\, nicht in Eurer feinsten Kleidung zu kommen.\nBitte bringt ein Paar alte Socken oder nehmt in Kauf\, dass Eure Socken etwas farbig werden.\nInklusivmaterial: 1 Stk. 30x40cm Leinwand zum Üben. 1 Stk. 40x50cm Leinwand. Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\nWe have been wanting to offer you this workshop for quite some time now. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n\nThe event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required.\nWe provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing.\nPlease bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored.\nIncluded materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. All paints and utensils.\nUpgrade Options: Want to create larger artworks or additional ones? Check out our UPGRADE pricelist for action painting. Wenn du noch gar nie gemalt hast\, könnte es sein\, dass du etwas länger brauchst bzw. wir empfehlen dir\, nicht allen Details nachzugehen. Bei einem PaintEvent erstellst du mir der Unterstützung von lokalen Künstlern dein eigenes Kunstwerk\, das du am Ende des Abends mit nach Hause nimmst. Im Vordergrund stehen Entspannung\, die Freude am Malen und die Entfaltung deiner Kreativität. Wie wäre es mit paar Farbspritzer oder einem satten königsblau als Hintergrund? An Werkzeugen wie Spachteln\, Schwämme\, Zahnbürsten… mangelt es auf jeden Fall nicht 🙂 Probieren geht über studieren! \n  \nÜber den Workshop: \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nBegib dich auf eine Entdeckungsreise mit unserem”The Play of Light: Figure Workshop”. Diese Sitzung ist speziell darauf ausgerichtet\, dein Verständnis und deine Fähigkeiten in der Darstellung der menschlichen Form zu vertiefen\, mit einem Fokus auf dem Zusammenspiel von Licht und Schatten unter Verwendung der lebendigen Medien Acryl und Ölpastell. \nIn diesem Workshop wirst du die Grundlagen der Figurenmalerei erforschen\, wobei der Schwerpunkt darauf liegt\, die Feinheiten von Schatten und Highlights einzufangen\, um eine lebensechte und dynamische Darstellung zu schaffen. Unser Künstler wird dich durch den Prozess der Beobachtung und Übersetzung der Komplexität der menschlichen Form auf deine Leinwand führen. \n  \nLernpunkte: \n\nVerständnis von Licht und Schatten: Lerne\, Licht und Schatten auf der menschlichen Figur zu beobachten und zu interpretieren\, was entscheidend ist\, um Tiefe und Realismus hinzuzufügen.\nAcryltechniken: Erlerne den Umgang mit Acrylfarben\, um Grundfarben und erste Formen aufzutragen\, und verstehe deren schnelltrocknende Natur für das Schichten.\nÖlpastellmethoden: Entdecke die Verwendung von Ölpastellen\, um Details\, Texturen und lebendige Highlights hinzuzufügen sowie für sanfte Übergänge zu mischen.\nAnatomie und Proportion: Frische dein Wissen über die grundlegende menschliche Anatomie und Proportionen auf\, um sicherzustellen\, dass deine Figuren sowohl ausdrucksstark als auch genau sind.\nMischen und Schichten: Meistere die Kunst\, Farben zu mischen und verschiedene Medien zu schichten\, um den gewünschten Effekt in Bezug auf Textur und Tiefe zu erreichen.\nKontrast und Komposition: Lerne\, Kontrasteffektiv zu nutzen\, um das Auge des Betrachters zu lenken und eine fesselnde Komposition zu erstellen.\n\n  \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n• Das Event ist für jeden geeignet! Die Gesichtsproportionen werden wir gemeinsam abpausen. Wenn du noch gar nie gemalt hast\, könnte es sein\, dass du etwas länger brauchst bzw. wir empfehlen dir\, nicht allen Details nachzugehen. Bei Fragen immer gerne ungeniert melden! 🙂 \n• Instruktionen für dieses Bild erfolgen Schritt für Schritt\, gerne kannst du aber immer was anderes malen! \n• Eine Leinwand (30x40cm) und alle Materialien werden von uns bereitgestellt und sind im Preis inbegriffen \n• Material: Hochwertige Acrylfarbe von fleury-art.ch. Our artist will guide you through the process of observing and translating the complexities of the human form onto your canvas. \n  \nLearning Points: \n\nUnderstanding Light and Shadow: Learn how to observe and interpret light and shadow on the human figure\, crucial for adding depth and realism.\nAcrylic Techniques: Gain proficiency in using acrylics to lay down base colors and initial shapes\, understanding their quick-drying nature for layering.\nOil Pastel Methods: Explore the use of oil pastels for adding details\, textures\, and vibrant highlights\, as well as blending for smooth transitions.\nAnatomy and Proportion: Brush up on basic human anatomy and proportions to ensure your figures are both expressive and accurate.\nMixing and Layering: Master the art of mixing colors and layering different mediums to achieve the desired effect in terms of texture and depth.\nContrast and Composition: Learn how to use contrast effectively to guide the viewer’s eye and create a compelling composition.\n\n  \n• No Prior Painting Experience Necessary. If it’s your very first time painting\, you might wanna calculate a bit more time to finish the painting. Also\, we recommend to skip a detail or two and/or call for assistance when you need! \n• Step by Step Instructions\, and you also have the option to trace the shapes and forms\, so you can concentrate on coloring\, but you are always welcome to paint something else (precise or abstract) ! \n• One Canvas (30x40cm) and all Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price \n• Medium: Premium Acrylic colors by fleury-art.ch.
