Mit dem neuen Studio an der Limmatstrasse 73 ist es jetzt endlich so weit. Dort haben wir einen ganzen Bereich des Ateliers dem Action Painting gewidmet\, in dem Ihr Euch sorglos mit Pinseln\, Spritzpistolen und weiteren Utensilien austoben könnt. Unsere Künstlerin startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n  \n • Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Inklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\nWe have been wanting to offer you this workshop for quite some time now. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n • The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing. \n• Please bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored. \n•  Included materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. SUMMARY:Fluid Art Workshop: Colors in Motion
DESCRIPTION:  \n— Deutsch — \n  \nDie Künstlerin Janka wird am AFLOAT Workshop ihre Herangehensweise an die faszinierende FLUID ART Technik\, die ihrer künstlerischen Arbeit AFLOAT zugrunde liegt\, zeigen. \nDas was AFLOAT ausmacht beginnt beim Kreieren der benötigten flüssigen Konsistenz der Acrylfarbe mitsamt dem Experimentieren damit. Die Acrylfarben werden mit recht viel Wasser verdünnt\, nacheinander in einen gemeinsamen Plastikbecher gegossen\, wobei ein paar Tropfen Silikonöl hinzugefügt werden. Der Becher wird entweder mit der DIRTY-POUR oder der FLIP-CUP Methode auf einen festen Untergrund\, hier auf drei Holzplatten und eine Leinwand\, geleert oder umgekehrt. Als Untergrund verwendet die Künstlerin selbst ebenso Glas und Karton. Nun kommt der allerbeste Moment\, indem die Farben beginnen miteinander zu reagieren\, wobei ganz eigene abstrakte Formgebungen\, die an Zellen oder andersartige organische oder astronomische Motive erinnern. Die Künstlerin greift subtil ein\, indem sie den Untergrund etwas kippt und mit der Nutzung von Strohhalmen oder einem Föhn und einem Bunsenbrenner Luft und Wärme Veränderungen erzeugt. Die Arbeiten verändern sich bis sie ganz getrocknet sind wie von alleine weiter. \nDies ist nicht ein klassischer Event für ein bestimmtes Bild mit Schritt für Schritt Anweisungen. Stattdessen zeigt Janka Ihnen die AFLOAT Technik\, so dass Sie Ihre drei eigenen und einzigartigen Bilder kreieren können und vor allem Spass an dieser besonderen Malweise haben können\, die viel Neugierde weckt. \n  \n • Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Alle Materialien werden von uns bereitgestellt und sind im Preis inbegriffen \n• Material: 2 verschiedene Formate Holzplatten (1x 24x30x0.5ccm\, 1x23x23x0.5m)\, Fluetrol\, Silikonöl von unserem Online Shop & hochwertige Acrylfarbe von Fleury-Art.ch \n• Zusätzlich können 20x20cm und 25x30cm Leinwänder bezogen werden (12-15CHF) \n• Das Event wird auf Deutsch und Englisch geleitet. Im Falle einer Absage werden die Gäste mit einem Ticket per Mail informiert und das Ticket wird nach Wunsch entweder umgebucht oder komplett zurückerstattet. \n  \n— English — \n  \nThe artist Janka will show at the AFLOAT Workshop her own approach to the fascinating FLUID ART technique that lies behind her artistic work AFLOAT. \nAFLOAT starts with creating the required liquid consistency of the acrylic paints including experimenting with it. To do so the acrylic paints need to be mixed with plenty of water. Then all colors are poured one by one into one common plastic cup whereat a few drops of silicone oil is added. The cup is poured on a solid surface\, here on three wood boards and one canvas\, either with the DIRTY-POUR or the FLIP-CUP method. As a background the artist also uses glass and cardboard. Now the very best moment appears when the colors begin to react with each other. Very unique abstract shapes emerge reminding of cell structures or any other organic or astronomical motives. The artist intervenes in a subtle way by tilting the surface a bit and using either a straw or a hairdryer and a heat gun to influence the painting with air and heat changes. The paintings still change from itself until they are completely dried. \nThis is not a classical event with step-by-step instructions for one particular painting. Instead\, Janka will show the AFLOAT technique\, so you can create three of your own unique paintings and mainly have fun with this special painting method that awakens curiosity. \n  \n • No prior Painting experience necessary \n• All Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price. \n• Material: 3 different formats of wooden boards (1x 24x30x0.5ccm\, 1x23x23x0.5m)\, Fluetrol\, Silicone Oil from our Online Shop  & premium Acrylic paint by Fleury-Art.ch \n• Language of Instruction: English & German \n• New: We will provide boxes to take your paintings home right away. Dort haben wir einen ganzen Bereich des Ateliers dem Action Painting gewidmet\, in dem Ihr Euch sorglos mit Pinseln\, Spritzpistolen und weiteren Utensilien austoben könnt. Unsere Künstlerin startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n  \n • Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Inklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\nWe have been wanting to offer you this workshop for quite some time now. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n • The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing. \n• Please bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored. \n•  Included materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. All paints and utensils. \n• Upgrade Options: Want to create larger artworks or additional ones? Check out our UPGRADE pricelist for action painting. SUMMARY:Alcohol Ink Workshop: Crash of Colors
DESCRIPTION:  \n— Deutsch — \n  \nUnsere Künstlerin zeigt am Workshop wie mit Tinte und Alkohol auf YUPO\, einem aus Plastik recycelten synthetischen Papier\, gemalt werden kann. Tinte reagiert auf diesem ebenen und wasserdichten Papier ganz speziell auf Sprit\, der aus 90% Alkohol besteht. Dieser Vorgang führt zu erstaunlichen Ergebnissen. Genauer zersetzt der Alkohol die Tinte bis in die Pigmente hinein\, wodurch neue Farbnuancen in ein und derselben Farbe auftauchen können. Die flüssige Tinte gemischt mit Alkohol wird durch Wärme und Luft mit einem Föhn oder einem Strohhalm auf der Oberfläche bewegt bis sie ganz getrocknet ist. Dabei entstehen wunderschön leuchtende und etwas durchscheinende Farbschichten. Dieser Vorgang kann kontinuierlich wiederholt werden\, bis die Komposition stimmig wird. Die Oberfläche wird gelegentlich mit reinem Alkohol besprenkelt\, wodurch Formgebungen entstehen\, die an den Kosmos erinnern. \n  \nDies ist nicht ein klassischer PaintEvent für ein bestimmtes Bild mit Schritt für Schritt Anweisungen. Stattdessen wird unsere Kunstlerin diese Technik so erklären\, dass Sie drei eigene Bilder auf YUPO kreieren können und sich vor allem während diesem wunderbaren Prozess entspannen und inspirieren lassen können. \n  \n • Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Alle Materialien werden von uns bereitgestellt und sind im Preis inbegriffen \n• Am Schluss hast du 4 Kunstwerke (jeweils bis A4 Grösse) auf Spezialpapier \n• Neu: Wir bieten Schachteln an\, mit denen die Bilder direkt mit nach Hause genommen werden können. Diese müssen horizontal transportiert werden\, können aber ohne Probleme mit in den ÖV genommen werden (vergleichbar mit 2 Pizza-Schachteln). \n• Zusätzliches Material kann vor Ort bezogen werden (3-10CHF) \n• Material: Verschiedenste Alkoholhaltige Tinten auf Spezialpapier \n• Wichtig: Obwohl wir nur hochwertige und zertifizierte Künstler-Tinten verwenden\, entstehen beim Arbeiten mit Alkoholtinten gewisse Dämpfe im Raum. Ink reacts on this even and waterproof paper very fascinating to spirit that consists of 90% alcohol. This process leads to astonishing results. More specifically the alcohol decomposes the ink within the pigments\, allowing new shades of color to appear within the same color. The liquid ink mixed with alcohol is being moved by heat and air with a hair dryer or a straw on the surface until it becomes completely dry. This creates beautifully luminous and slightly translucent layers of paint. This procedure can be repeated continuously until the composition becomes harmonious for you. The surface is occasionally sprinkled with pure alcohol creating shapes reminding of the cosmos. \n  \nThis is not a classical PaintEvent for a particular painting with step by step instructions. Instead\, Anastasia a will explain this technique so you can create your own three unique paintings on YUPO and above all relax and be inspired during this beautiful process. \n  \n• No prior Painting experience necessary \n• All Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price. \n• You will have 4 art pieces on special paper for alcohol ink (each up to A4 size). \n• New: We will provide boxes to take your paintings home right away. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n • The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Unsere Künstlerin startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\nWe have been wanting to offer you this workshop for quite some time now. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n • The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing. \n• Please bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored. \n•  Included materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. All paints and utensils. \n• Upgrade Options: Want to create larger artworks or additional ones? Check out our UPGRADE pricelist for action painting. Upgrades to 50x70cm are generally always possible; larger formats might not be possible in fully booked sessions but you can always check with your artist. \n• Duration: approx. 2 to 2.5h \n• Note: Most likely your artworks won’t be dry enough to be safely transported at the end of the session. Zudem erfordert das Material eine gewisse Geschicklichkeit\, was die Teilnahme für jüngere Kinder ebenfalls erschwert. \nPlease note: Although we exclusively use high-quality artist products\, this course generates certain fumes in the room. For this reason\, the course is not suitable for pregnant women\, children under the age of 15 and individuals with sensitive airways or asthma. Additionally\, handling the materials requires a certain level of skill\, which makes participation challenging for younger children. \n\n  \n— Deutsch — \n  \n\nDieser Workshop ist ein Hands-On Schnupperkurs und der perfekte Einstieg in die “Resin Kunst”. In diesem Workshop wird unsere Künstlerin Euch die grundlegenden Techniken zeigen und Euch Schritt für Schritt anleiten\, wir Ihr Schicht für Schicht einen Strand kreiert (Einschließlich der Anordnung des Sandstrands und der Muscheln) . Es werden mehrere Schichten von Harz in verschiedenen Blautönen gegossen werden und anschliessend wird mit einer weissen Schicht abgeschlossen. Diese Schicht manipuliert Ihr dann mit Luft und Schwerkraft bis Sie an Meeresschaum erinnert. Dieses Beach-Motiv eignet sich perfekt\, um Resin-Kunst zu entdecken: Die Klarheit\, Konsistenz und der Glanz von Resin geben das Aussehen von Wasser auf eine Weise wieder\, die man mit keinem anderen Medium erreichen kann. Unsere Künstlerin wird Euch zeigen\, wie einfach es ist\, Eure eigene atemberaubende Ozean-Landschaft zu erschaffen. \n  \n\n\n\n\n• Perfekt für Anfänger: Keine vorherige Erfahrung mit Resin notwendig. \n• Alle Materialien werden gestellt und sind im Ticketpreis enthalten. \n• Material: 1 Holzleinwand (25cm Durchmesser) und MasterCast Resin von EliChem (ungiftig und frei von Lösungsmitteln für eine einfache und sichere Anwendung\, auch in unserem Online Shop erhältlich)\, verschiedene Farbpigmente. \n• Wichtig: Um eine optimale Trocknung ohne Verfliessen zu garantieren\, empfehlen wir\, dass Ihr die Werke über Nacht bei uns im Atelier lasst und später abholen kommt. At this workshop our artist  will show you the basic techniques to create a beautiful realistic beach art (including how to arrange the sandy beach and seashells) . It is an easy process that involves pouring layers of resin in various shades of blue\, then finishing with a layer of white that gets pushed around by air and gravity to create a lacing effect reminiscent of sea foam. Resin is essential to creating realistic ocean art: it is clarity\, consistency and gloss replicate the look of water in a way you simply can’t get with any other medium. Our artist will demonstrate how easy it is to create your own stunning ocean art\, specially for beginners. \n  \n• No prior experience with resin necessary \n• All Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price. \n• Material: One Wooden board (25cm diameter)\,  MasterCast Resin by EliChem (non-toxic free from solvents for easy and safe application\, also available in our Online Shop)\, different color pigments. \n• Important: For optimal drying process and avoiding any changes to your painting\, we recommend that you leave your artwork in the studio at least overnight and pick it up at later. Alternatively we can also choose our shipping service \n• Good to know: Plastic gloves are always needed when working with resin from measuring to finished paintings to protect hands. Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\nWe have been wanting to offer you this workshop for quite some time now. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n • The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing. \n• Please bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored. \n•  Included materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. All paints and utensils. \n• Upgrade Options: Want to create larger artworks or additional ones? Check out our UPGRADE pricelist for action painting. Gel printing is not only a fun and rewarding art form but also a meditative process that encourages experimentation and play. Join us for an artistic exploration and leave with the skills and confidence to continue making gel prints on your own. \nIn this workshop\, you’ll dive into the process of gel printing\, using a gelatin-like plate to make prints without the need for a press. Gel printing is known for its versatility and the ability to produce stunning\, multi-layered results that are impossible to achieve with traditional printing methods. Our artist will guide you through every step of the process\, from setting up your materials to pulling your final print. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nWhat to Expect:\n\nIntroduction to Gel Printing: Learn what gel printing is and why it’s a unique and accessible form of printmaking. Understand the materials needed\, including the gel plate\, brayers\, paper\, and acrylic paints.\nPreparing Your Plate: Discover how to prepare your gel plate for printing\, including applying paint\, creating textures\, and using stencils or found objects to add intriguing patterns and depth to your prints.\nLayering Techniques: Master the art of layering colors and patterns to create complex\, richly textured prints. Learn how to plan your layers for the best visual impact.\nPulling Prints: Get hands-on experience pulling prints from your gel plate\, learning how to apply the right amount of pressure to transfer your design onto paper or fabric.\nExploring Creativity with Mixed Media: Explore how to incorporate mixed media elements into your gel prints\, including drawing\, collaging\, and other embellishments to your finished prints.\nFinishing and Presentation: Learn how to finish your prints for presentation\, including tips on drying\, flattening\, and mounting your artwork.\n\n  \nThis is not a classic PaintEvent for a specific motive with step by step instructions. DESCRIPTION:  \n— Deutsch —(EN below) \n  \nMach dich bereit\, deine Kreativität zu entfachen mit unserem brandneuen Workshop: Action Painting mit Neonfarben unter UV-Licht!\n  \nStell dir eine lebendige Explosion von Farben vor\, die unter dem UV-Licht\, während du deine künstlerische Energie frei entfalten lässt. Unser neues Studio an der Limmatstrasse 73 ist jetzt mit einer speziellen UV-Licht-Zone ausgestattet\, perfekt für dieses aufregende Erlebnis. Dir stehen verschiedene Neonfarben und Werkzeuge zur Verfügung—Pinsel\, Spritzpistolen und mehr—um atemberaubende\, leuchtende Kunstwerke zu schaffen. \nUnser erfahrener Künstler wird den Workshop mit einer kurzen Einführung in die grundlegenden Techniken starten\, bevor du dein erstes Kunstwerk auf einer 30x40cm Leinwand kreierst. Sobald du den Dreh raus hast\, geht’s weiter zu deinem Hauptkunstwerk auf einer 40x50cm Holzrahmen-Leinwand\, die im Workshop inbegriffen ist. \nKomm und erlebe ein unvergessliches\, leuchtendes Abenteuer! \n  \n • Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt \n• Inklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). Dennoch empfehlen wir Euch\, nicht in Eurer feinsten Kleidung zu kommen. \n• Bitte bringt ein Paar alte Socken oder nehmt in Kauf\, dass Eure Socken etwas farbig werden. \n• Inklusivmaterial: 1 Stk. 30x40cm und 1 Stk. 40x50cm Leinwand. Alle Farben und Utensilien. \n• Upgrade-Optionen: Du möchtest grössere Formate erstellen? Schau Dir unsere Upgrade Preisliste fürs Action Painting an. Ein Upgrade auf 50x70cm ist grundsätzlich immer möglich. Grössere Formate sind bei voll belegten Kursen ggf. aus Platzgründen nicht möglich aber Deine Künstlerin gibt Dir dazu vor Ort gerne Auskunft. \n• Dauer: ca. 2.5 h \n• Hinweis: Wahrscheinlich werden Eure Werke am Ende der Session noch zu nass für einen sicheren Transport sein. Ihr könnt sie dann bei uns trocknen lassen und eine Abholung vereinbaren oder nach der Session unseren Versandservice (bis 40x50cm\, Versand von grösseren Formaten auf Anfrage). \n  \nBitte beachte\, dass wir dieses Event nur durchführen\, wenn sich mindestens 4 Personen spätestens 48h vor dem Event online angemeldet haben. Our new studio space at Limmatstrasse 73 is now equipped with a dedicated UV light zone\, perfect for this electrifying experience. You’ll have an array of neon paints and tools at your disposal—brushes\, spray guns\, and more—to create stunning\, luminous artworks. \nOur experienced artist will kick things off with a quick rundown of essential techniques before you dive into your first piece on a 30×40 canvas. Once you’ve gotten the hang of it\, you’ll move on to your main masterpiece on a 40x50cm wood-frame canvas\, which is included in the workshop. \nJoin us for an unforgettable\, glowing adventure in art! \n  \n • The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required. \n• We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing. \n• Please bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored. \n•  Included materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm und 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. All paints and utensils. \n• Upgrade Options: Want to create larger artworks or additional ones? Check out our UPGRADE pricelist for action painting. Upgrades to 50x70cm are generally always possible; larger formats might not be possible in fully booked sessions but you can always check with your artist. \n• Duration: approx. 2.5 h \n• Note: Most likely your artworks won’t be dry enough to be safely transported at the end of the session. You can leave them to dry at our studio and arrange a pick-up time or book our shipping service after the session (up to 40x50cm canvas size\, shipping of larger sizes upon request). \n  \nPlease note that we will only hold this event if at least 4 people have registered online at least 48h before the event. In case of a cancellation from our side\, guests who hold a ticket will be informed by mail and the ticket will be either rebooked or completely refunded as desired.
