Spatula\, knife and paintbrush are the tools and there are different kind of pastes like pumice\, soft gel\, Glas bead gel etc. After you apply this wonderful medium \,you paint with acrylic or even watercolor over it. Dort haben wir einen ganzen Bereich des Ateliers dem Action Painting gewidmet\, in dem Ihr Euch sorglos mit Pinseln\, Spritzpistolen und weiteren Utensilien austoben könnt. Unsere Künstlerin Eliza startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt\n Inklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). Nurturing our relationship with nature provides an endless source of balance and artistic inspiration. \nAna paints wild flowers\, idyllic nature and its expressive disorder in movement. \nHer way of painting is in an impressionist fashion with free access to imagination\, to improvisation and to fantasy. Sie erlernen die Grundlagen der Enkaustik\, das Brennen von Schellack sowie die Arbeit mit dem Bunsenbrenner. Das griechischen Wort „enkausis“ bedeutet „einbrennen“: Das Wachs wird auf einer Wärmeplatte flüssig gehalten\, auf Holz aufgetragen und mit einem Bunsenbrenner verarbeitet. Mit Bienenwachs zu malen ist ein berauschendes\, sinnliches Erlebnis. Es duftet wunderbar\, die Materialien sind 100% natürlich und wir erzeugen unvergleichliche Farbintensitäten und Lichteffekte. Anstelle eines Pinsel nutzen wir das Feuer zum Malen. Wir verbinden damit die einzelnen Wachsschichten und erzeugen gar einen kontrollierten Schellackbrand. Ein Schritt-für-Schritt-Kurs\, um mit kontrolliertem Feuer magische Effekte zu erzielen. Sie werden atemberaubende Oberflächeneffekte erzielen und Ihre künstlerischen Techniken mit natürlichen Materialien weiterentwickeln. Lernen Sie\, mit Wachs & Feuer zu gestalten. \nWichtig (!) Ihre zahlreichen Werke wurden erfolgreich in der Schweiz und im Ausland ausgestellt\, u.a. in 7 Einzelausstellungen. Sie unterrichtete mehr als 25 Jahre an der Universität Bern sowie an diversen Privatakademien. Seit 2018 verschreibt sie sich zu 100 Prozent der Kunst. 2021 erlangte sie einen Abschluss der Universität Florida im Bereich Art & Healing. Sie betreibt eine App\, mit der ihre Kunst mit Augmented Reality visualisiert werden kann. Ihre digitalen Kenntnisse fliessen nun ebenso intensiv in ihr Kunstschaffen ein wie ihre explorative\, zukunftsgerichtete Arbeitsweise. 2021 wurde ihre erste Videoinstallation Intu Ink in Zürich uraufgeführt. \n2022 stellte sie als erste Augmented Reality Künstlerin ihre digitale Kunst an der Biennale Art Expo Venedig aus. Sie war zudem die erste digitale Bildhauerin\, die an der 16. Where can you find ideas for great composition?    \nAna Paz will guide you through creating an abstract painting from beginning to end. \nWe will start with simple shapes and colors but slowly we will build up layers where washes of overlapping transparencies and intersections of color will create new and exciting hues. You can also choose to add a discrete touch of golden leaf. \n  \n  \nWhat you’ll learn \n\nHow to create different shapes with a beautiful texture\nBuilding up layers so you can create depth \nHow to create depth using light and shadows\nDifferent mixed media techniques so you can fill up your shapes with interesting marks\nHow to play with the transparency in order to achieve a 3D effect\nHow to create different textures so your painting looks rich but not overwhelming\nHow to choose the perfect color combination so you have a nice\, balanced contrast \nHow and where to add golden leaf\n\n No Prior Painting Experience Necessary. This class will be held by Eliza Witte.\n\n— Deutsch — \nDie Künstlerin Janka Stemmle wird am AFLOAT Workshop ihre Herangehensweise an die faszinierende FLUID ART Technik\, die ihrer künstlerischen Arbeit AFLOAT zugrunde liegt\, zeigen. \nDas was AFLOAT ausmacht beginnt beim Kreieren der benötigten flüssigen Konsistenz der Acrylfarbe mitsamt dem Experimentieren damit. Die Acrylfarben werden mit recht viel Wasser verdünnt\, nacheinander in einen gemeinsamen Plastikbecher gegossen\, wobei ein paar Tropfen Silikonöl hinzugefügt werden. Der Becher wird entweder mit der DIRTY-POUR oder der FLIP-CUP Methode auf einen festen Untergrund\, hier auf drei Holzplatten und eine Leinwand\, geleert oder umgekehrt. Als Untergrund verwendet die Künstlerin selbst ebenso Glas und Karton. Nun kommt der allerbeste Moment\, indem die Farben beginnen miteinander zu reagieren\, wobei ganz eigene abstrakte Formgebungen\, die an Zellen oder andersartige organische oder astronomische Motive erinnern. Die Künstlerin greift subtil ein\, indem sie den Untergrund etwas kippt und mit der Nutzung von Strohhalmen oder einem Föhn und einem Bunsenbrenner Luft und Wärme Veränderungen erzeugt. Die Arbeiten verändern sich bis sie ganz getrocknet sind wie von alleine weiter. \nDies ist nicht ein klassischer Event für ein bestimmtes Bild mit Schritt für Schritt Anweisungen. Stattdessen zeigt Janka Ihnen die AFLOAT Technik\, so dass Sie Ihre zwei eigenen und einzigartigen Bilder kreieren können und vor allem Spass an dieser besonderen Malweise haben können\, die viel Neugierde weckt. \n Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt\n Alle Materialien werden von uns bereitgestellt und sind im Preis inbegriffen\n Material: 2 verschiedene Formate Holzplatten (1x 15x23x0.5ccm & 1x 30x40x0.5cm) Fluetrol\, Silikonöl von unserem Online Shop & hochwertige Acrylfarbe von Fleury-Art.ch\n Zusätzlich können 20x20cm und 25x30cm Leinwänder bezogen werden (12-15CHF)\n Das Event wird auf Deutsch und Englisch geleitet. Im Falle einer Absage werden die Gäste mit einem Ticket per Mail informiert und das Ticket wird nach Wunsch entweder umgebucht oder komplett zurückerstattet. \n— English — \nThe artist Janka Stemmle will show at the AFLOAT Workshop her own approach to the fascinating FLUID ART technique that lies behind her artistic work AFLOAT. \nAFLOAT starts with creating the required liquid consistency of the acrylic paints including experimenting with it. To do so the acrylic paints need to be mixed with plenty of water. Then all colors are poured one by one into one common plastic cup whereat a few drops of silicone oil is added. The cup is poured on a solid surface\, here on three wood boards and one canvas\, either with the DIRTY-POUR or the FLIP-CUP method. As a background the artist also uses glass and cardboard. Now the very best moment appears when the colors begin to react with each other. Very unique abstract shapes emerge reminding of cell structures or any other organic or astronomical motives. The artist intervenes in a subtle way by tilting the surface a bit and using either a straw or a hairdryer and a heat gun to influence the painting with air and heat changes. The paintings still change from itself until they are completely dried. \nThis is not a classical event with step-by-step instructions for one particular painting. Instead\, Janka will show the AFLOAT technique\, so you can create two of your own unique paintings and mainly have fun with this special painting method that awakens curiosity. \n No prior Painting experience necessary\n All Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price.\n Material: 2 different formats of wooden boards (1x 15x23x0.5ccm & 1x 30x40x0.5cm)\, Fluetrol\, Silicone Oil from our Online Shop  & premium Acrylic paint by Fleury-Art.ch\n Language of Instruction: English & German\n Additional canvases 20x20cm or 25x30cm available on request (12-15CHF)\n New: We will provide boxes to take your paintings home right away.
