You can work with colors\, dots\, lines\, shapes and textures and create a personal visual rhythm in a painting but you can also feel free and work in the intuitive way\, gestural\, you also can explore all different kinds of techniques. \nThe workshop series include six sections: Grisaille\, Layering\, Blending\, Sgraffito\, Stippling and Wet on Wet\, at each section you will learn a specific technique which will help you to achieve a new level for your abstract learning process …… on every second Monday\, Rolando\, our friend\, host and artist from Cuba is looking forward to assist you to enjoy this new creative experience.You don’t necessarily need to participate the workshops in sequence. Every workshop is an individual section. \nAbout Today’s workshop – Wet on Wet \nWet on Wet technique is used for blending work. Essentially you’ll add your paint color on canvas\, and while it is still wet you can add another color\, and blend them together while they are workable and wet on canvas. Working the blends on canvas while both paint colors are still wet allows you to get smooth blends and gradients. \nThis event is limited to a maximum of 10 people per session to ensure a calm atmosphere and optimal guidance. \nFind more about Rolando’s work here. \nPlease note: This is not a typical “guided event”. There will be no step-by-step instructions for a particular painting. Instead\, Rolando will show you techniques and tricks and encourage you to paint intuitively and freely. In diesem Workshop gibt Anastasia ihre langjährige Erfahrung im Kunstharzgiessen an Euch weiter und leitet Euch an\, wie ihr einen Beistelltisch veredelt und personalisiert. Ein Tisch\, hochwertiger MasterCast Kunstharz\, Pigmente und alles was sonst noch benötig wird ist im Ticketpreis inbegriffen. \nInfo zum Tisch: Der Tisch hat eine Höhe von 49.5 cm und die Platte einen Durchmesser von ca. 38 cm und entspricht der Abbildung oben. Wir haben ein begrenzte Auswahl an Varianten mit braunem (siehe Abbildung) oder weissem Gestell verfügbar. Farbpräferenzen können wir nicht garantieren. Erlebe beim Action Painting eine befreiende und kreative Auszeit\nDiesen Workshop wollen wir Euch bereits seit geraumer Zeit anbieten. Mit dem neuen Studio an der Zeughausstrasse 31 ist es jetzt endlich so weit. Dort haben wir einen ganzen Bereich des Ateliers dem Action Painting gewidmet\, in dem Ihr Euch sorglos mit Pinseln\, Spritzpistolen und weiteren Utensilien austoben könnt. Unsere Künstlerin Eliza startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt\n Inklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist Eliza will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n The event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required.\n We provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). DESCRIPTION:  \n\n–Künsterlin/Artist– \n[tlpteam id=”25480″ title=”Janka”]\n  \n \nTo see more STRUCTURES artworks by Janka Stemmle \n  \nIMPORTANT: This event is taking place at our new studio at Zeughausstrasse 31\, 8004 Zürich.\nWICHTIG: Dieser event findet in unserem neuen Studio an der Zeughausstrasse 31\, 8004 Zürich statt.\n\n\n— Deutsch — \nDie Künstlerin Janka Stemmle zeigt in ihrem STRUCTURES Workshop\, wie sie mit verschiedensten Strukturpasten und Salz auf Leinwand malt. Sie zeigt vor\, wie die Strukturpasten und das Salz mit Acrylfarbe und Tinte eingefärbt werden und mit dem Spachtel in den zuvor gemalten Farbverlauf hinein gearbeitet werden. Die verschiedensten Strukturen; trocken bis flüssig\, fein bis grobkörnig\, matt bis glänzend\, bieten alle eine zusätzliche faszinierende\, haptische und etwas dreidimensionale Ebene zur Farbkomposition und Formgebung. Bei der abstrakten Malerei spielt die eigene Farbpalette eine wichtige Rolle und wird hier in der seriellen Arbeitsweise auf zwei Leinwänden von der Künstlerin angeleitet\, individuell erarbeitet. Eingefärbte Struktur-Schichten werden solange hinzugefügt\, bis die Kompositionen stimmig werden. Die Werke können schlussendlich an etwas ganz Natürliches wie zum Beispiel Gesteine in den Gebirgen oder an Rost-Effekte erinnern\, bleiben aber natürlich ein sehr offenes abstraktes Bild.  \nDies ist kein klassischer PaintEvent für ein bestimmtes Bild mit Schritt für Schritt Anweisungen. Stattdessen wird Janka diese Technik so erklären\, dass Sie zwei ganz eigene Bilder auf Leinwand kreieren können und sich während diesem meditativen Prozess erden und ihrer Kreativität Freiraum geben können. \n Der Event ist für jeden geeignet\, es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt.\n Alle Materialien werden von uns bereitgestellt und sind im Preis inbegriffen.\n 2 Leinwände (30x40cm) und alle Materialien werden von uns bereitgestellt und sind im Preis inbegriffen.\n Der Event wird auf Deutsch und Englisch geleitet. She demonstrates how the structural pastes and salt are colored with acrylic paint and ink and added with the spatula into the previously painted color gradient. The wide variety of textures possible; dry to liquid\, fine to coarse grained\, matte to glossy\, all offer an additional fascinating\, tactile and  a bit three-dimensional layer to the color composition and shaping. In abstract painting\, one’s own color palette plays an important role and is here individually focused on in the serial way of working on two canvases guided by the artist. Colored structure layers are added until the compositions become coherent. The works can finally remind of something very natural such as rocks in the mountains or rust effects\, but of course they remain open abstract paintings.  \nThis is not a classic PaintEvent for a specific motive with step by step instructions. Sie experimentiert mit dünn und dick aufgetragenen Schichten Acrylfarbe. Dabei wird mit verschiedenen Werkzeugen\, wie zum Beispiel einem Roller\, einem extra breiten Pinsel\, einem Spachtel\, einem Schwämmchen oder einer Zahnbürste\, verschiedenes intuitiv ausprobiert. Nach mehreren Farbschichten wird die Künstlerin zeigen\, wie mit Ölkreide und Pastellkreiden über das Bild “getanzt” werden kann\, ohne bewusst die Linie anzusetzen\, sondern bewusst ganz kindlich gemalt werden kann. Zudem wird mit der Zahnbürste die Oberfläche gelegentlich mit winzigen kleinen bis grösseren Punkten gesprenkelt. Es wird hier mit dem Zufälligen gespielt und so lange an einem Bild gemalt\, bis jede Komposition stimmig wird. \nDies ist nicht ein klassischer Event für ein bestimmtes Bild mit Schritt für Schritt Anweisungen. Stattdessen wird Janka diese Technik so erklären\, dass Sie drei eigene Bilder kreieren können und sich vor allem während diesem verspielten Prozess inspirieren lassen können. \n Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt\n Alle Materialien werden von uns bereitgestellt und sind im Preis inbegriffen\n  Am Schluss hast du insgesamt 3 Kunstwerke\, (30×40 Leinwand\, 20×20 Malkarton\, A4 Papier)\, die du mit einer Kartonschachtel direkt mit nach Hause nehmen kannst.\n Zusätzliches Material kann vor Ort bezogen werden (3-12 CHF)\n Material: Acrylfarbe\, Ölkreide und Pastellkreide auf Papier\, Leinwand und Malkarton\n Das Event wird auf Deutsch und Englisch geleitet. She experiments with thin and thick acrylic layers. Different tools\, such as a roller\, an extra wide brush\, a spatula\, a sponge or a toothbrush\, are used to try out different intuitive notions. After several layers of paint\, the artist will show how oil pastels and pastel crayons can be used to “dance” over the painting without consciously applying the line\, and how it can be deliberately painted like being a child again. In addition\, with the toothbrush the surface is occasionally sprinkled with tiny small and larger dots. You will be painting until each composition becomes like one. \nThis is not a classic event for a specific painting with step-by-step instructions. The acrylic paints react with each other when combined together  to make interesting and visually organic motifs. Fluid acrylics can be used on many types of substrates and in many different forms such as pouring\, dripping\, swirling\,  and many other effects. Fluid art opens up a lot of possibilities and is definitely worth exploring.\nFree-flowing liquid paints and mediums are at the heart of the pouring process. Adjusting the viscosity and flow rate to work in tandem with how you want the paints to interact with each other is key.\n​In this course I will teach you : \n\nSupplies you need to start Fluid Painting\nWorkplace / preparation\nDifferent Pouring Mediums (additives for good flow characteristics)\nUse of silicone – mixing technique and impact\nPaint Consistency \nPaint Transparency (opacity of the paints / effects)\nChoosing the right colors\nDifferent techniques (12 ) that I use like: dirty pour\, flip cup\, string\, swipe technique and more. In diesem Workshop zeigt Ihnen unsere Künstlerin Anastasia die grundlegenden Techniken\, wie man trockene Gegenstände oder Farben mit Harz versiegelt. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist Eliza will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). Sie zeigt vor\, wie die Strukturpasten und das Salz mit Acrylfarbe und Tinte eingefärbt werden und mit dem Spachtel in den zuvor gemalten Farbverlauf hinein gearbeitet werden. Die verschiedensten Strukturen; trocken bis flüssig\, fein bis grobkörnig\, matt bis glänzend\, bieten alle eine zusätzliche faszinierende\, haptische und etwas dreidimensionale Ebene zur Farbkomposition und Formgebung. Bei der abstrakten Malerei spielt die eigene Farbpalette eine wichtige Rolle und wird hier in der seriellen Arbeitsweise auf zwei Leinwänden von der Künstlerin angeleitet\, individuell erarbeitet. Eingefärbte Struktur-Schichten werden solange hinzugefügt\, bis die Kompositionen stimmig werden. Die Werke können schlussendlich an etwas ganz Natürliches wie zum Beispiel Gesteine in den Gebirgen oder an Rost-Effekte erinnern\, bleiben aber natürlich ein sehr offenes abstraktes Bild.  \nDies ist kein klassischer PaintEvent für ein bestimmtes Bild mit Schritt für Schritt Anweisungen. She demonstrates how the structural pastes and salt are colored with acrylic paint and ink and added with the spatula into the previously painted color gradient. The wide variety of textures possible; dry to liquid\, fine to coarse grained\, matte to glossy\, all offer an additional fascinating\, tactile and  a bit three-dimensional layer to the color composition and shaping. In abstract painting\, one’s own color palette plays an important role and is here individually focused on in the serial way of working on two canvases guided by the artist. Colored structure layers are added until the compositions become coherent. The works can finally remind of something very natural such as rocks in the mountains or rust effects\, but of course they remain open abstract paintings.  \nThis is not a classic PaintEvent for a specific motive with step by step instructions.
