With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n\nThe event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required.\nWe provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing.\nPlease bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored.\nIncluded materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. SUMMARY:Strukturpasten Workshop
DESCRIPTION:— Deutsch — \nÜber diesen Workshop\nDie Künstlerin Janka zeigt in ihrem STRUCTURES Workshop\, wie sie mit verschiedensten Strukturpasten und Salz auf Leinwand malt. Sie zeigt vor\, wie die Strukturpasten und das Salz mit Acrylfarbe und Tinte eingefärbt werden und mit dem Spachtel in den zuvor gemalten Farbverlauf hinein gearbeitet werden. Die verschiedensten Strukturen; trocken bis flüssig\, fein bis grobkörnig\, matt bis glänzend\, bieten alle eine zusätzliche faszinierende\, haptische und etwas dreidimensionale Ebene zur Farbkomposition und Formgebung. Bei der abstrakten Malerei spielt die eigene Farbpalette eine wichtige Rolle und wird hier in der seriellen Arbeitsweise auf zwei Leinwänden von der Künstlerin angeleitet\, individuell erarbeitet. Eingefärbte Struktur-Schichten werden solange hinzugefügt\, bis die Kompositionen stimmig werden. Die Werke können schlussendlich an etwas ganz Natürliches wie zum Beispiel Gesteine in den Gebirgen oder an Rost-Effekte erinnern\, bleiben aber natürlich ein sehr offenes abstraktes Bild.  \nDies ist kein klassischer PaintEvent für ein bestimmtes Bild mit Schritt für Schritt Anweisungen. Stattdessen wird Janka diese Technik so erklären\, dass Sie zwei ganz eigene Bilder auf Leinwand kreieren können und sich während diesem meditativen Prozess erden und ihrer Kreativität Freiraum geben können. \n  \nGut zu wissen\n\nDer Event ist für jeden geeignet\, es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt.\nAlle Materialien werden von uns bereitgestellt und sind im Preis inbegriffen.\n2 Leinwände (30x40cm) und alle Materialien werden von uns bereitgestellt und sind im Preis inbegriffen.\nDer Event wird auf Deutsch und Englisch geleitet. She demonstrates how the structural pastes and salt are colored with acrylic paint and ink and added with the spatula into the previously painted color gradient. The wide variety of textures possible; dry to liquid\, fine to coarse grained\, matte to glossy\, all offer an additional fascinating\, tactile and  a bit three-dimensional layer to the color composition and shaping. In abstract painting\, one’s own color palette plays an important role and is here individually focused on in the serial way of working on two canvases guided by the artist. Colored structure layers are added until the compositions become coherent. The works can finally remind of something very natural such as rocks in the mountains or rust effects\, but of course they remain open abstract paintings.  \nThis is not a classic PaintEvent for a specific motive with step by step instructions. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n\nThe event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required.\nWe provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n\nThe event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required.\nWe provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\n\n— Deutsch — \nÜber diesen Workshop:\nAn diesem Workshop zeigt die Künstlerin Janka Stemmle wie mit Aquarellen abstrakt gemalt werden kann mit der Verwendung von Salz\, Couscous (Quinoa\, Reis) und Zucker. Die mit der Nass-auf-Nass-Technik bemalten Stellen werden mit Salz\, Couscous (oder Quinoa/Reis) oder Zucker bestreut. Beim Trocknen entstehen dadurch zufällige\, sandige Strukturen auf dem Papier. Anschliessend werden die Bilder geföhnt. Die Zuckerstruktur wird mit weisser Acryl- oder Wasserfarbe hervorgehoben und bleibt fest auf dem Papier. Salz und Couscous werden abgekratzt und hinterlassen darunter feine bis grobe Strukturen\, die durch die Wasseraufnahme der Körner entstehen. \nDies ist nicht ein klassischer Event für ein bestimmtes Bild mit Schritt für Schritt Anweisungen. Areas painted with the wet-on-wet technique are sprinkled with salt\, couscous (or quinoa/rice)\, or sugar. As the paint dries\, this creates random\, sandy textures on the paper. The paintings are then dried with a hairdryer. The sugar texture is highlighted with white acrylic or watercolor and remains firmly attached to the paper. The salt and couscous are scraped off\, revealing fine to coarse textures created by how the grains absorbed water from the paint. \nThis is not a classical event for a specific painting with step-by-step instructions. DESCRIPTION:  \n— Deutsch —(EN below) \n  \nUnd… ACTION! Erlebe beim Action Painting eine befreiende und kreative Auszeit\nDiesen Workshop wollen wir Euch bereits seit geraumer Zeit anbieten. Mit dem neuen Studio an der Limmatstrasse 73 ist es jetzt endlich so weit. Dort haben wir einen ganzen Bereich des Ateliers dem Action Painting gewidmet\, in dem Ihr Euch sorglos mit Pinseln\, Spritzpistolen und weiteren Utensilien austoben könnt. Unsere Künstlerin startet mit einer kurzen Erklärung von Grundlagen und Techniken und lässt Euch dann direkt an einem ersten Probewerk experimentieren (30 x 40cm Leinwand). Mit der gewonnen Erfahrung geht es dann an Euer zweites Werk auf einer bespannten Leinwand (1 Stk 40x50cm Leinwand inklusive). \n  \n\nDas Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt\nInklusive Bereitstellung von Schutzkleidung (Maler-Overall\, Schutzbrille). Dennoch empfehlen wir Euch\, nicht in Eurer feinsten Kleidung zu kommen.\nBitte bringt ein Paar alte Socken oder nehmt in Kauf\, dass Eure Socken etwas farbig werden.\nInklusivmaterial: 1 Stk. 30x40cm Leinwand zum Üben. 1 Stk. 40x50cm Leinwand. Alle Farben und Utensilien.\nUpgrade-Optionen: Du möchtest grössere Formate erstellen? Schau Dir unsere Upgrade Preisliste fürs Action Painting an. Ein Upgrade auf 50x70cm ist grundsätzlich immer möglich. Grössere Formate sind bei voll belegten Kursen ggf. aus Platzgründen nicht möglich aber Deine Künstlerin gibt Dir dazu vor Ort gerne Auskunft.\nDauer: ca. 2 bis 2.5h\nHinweis: Wahrscheinlich werden Eure Werke am Ende der Session noch zu nass für einen sicheren Transport sein. Ihr könnt sie dann bei uns trocknen lassen. Bitte hole dein Kunstwerk innerhalb von 2 Wochen nach der Fertigstellung ab. Auf Wunsch können wir es maximal einen Monat für dich aufbewahren. Nach Ablauf dieser Frist nutze bitte unseren Versandservice\, da wir eine weitere Lagerung leider nicht garantieren können.\n\n  \nBitte beachte\, dass wir dieses Event nur durchführen\, wenn sich mindestens 4 Personen spätestens 48h vor dem Event online angemeldet haben. Experience a liberating and creative time-out with Action Painting.\nWe have been wanting to offer you this workshop for quite some time now. With the new studio at Limmatstrasse 73\, it’s finally here. At this studio we have dedicated an entire area of the studio to Action Painting\, where you can let off steam with brushes\, spray guns and other utensils. Our artist will start with a short explanation of basics and techniques and then let you experiment directly on a first test piece (30 x 40cm canvas). After that you can apply what you’ve discovered to your second work on a regular wood-frame canvas (1 pc 40x50cm canvas included). \n  \n\nThe event is suitable for everyone – no previous experience is required.\nWe provide protective clothing (painter’s overalls\, goggles). Nevertheless we recommend that you do not come in your finest clothing.\nPlease bring a pair of old socks or accept that your socks will be a bit colored.\nIncluded materials: 1 pc. 30x40cm canvas for practice. 1 pc. 40x50cm wood-frame canvas. All paints and utensils.\nUpgrade Options: Want to create larger artworks or additional ones? Check out our UPGRADE pricelist for action painting. Upgrades to 50x70cm are generally always possible; larger formats might not be possible in fully booked sessions but you can always check with your artist.\nDuration: approx. 2 to 2.5h\n\n  \nNote: Most likely your artworks won’t be dry enough to be safely transported at the end of the session. You can leave them to dry at our studio. Please pick up your artwork within 2 weeks after it is ready for collection. Upon request\, we can store it for a maximum of one month. Dieses Ritual öffnet deine Sinne\, hebt deine Stimmung und weckt deine Kreativität. \nWas dich erwartet: \nGong Fu Cha Zeremonie & Enso-Kreise (Wasserfarbe-Malerei)\nTauche ein in die Welt der chinesischen Teekultur & die fermentierte Version davon (Kombucha). Wir bestaunen die Schönheit der Teeblätter und verkosten den Tee achtsam über Duft\, Aroma und Textur.\nZu Beginn führen wir dich durch einfache Atemübungen (Pranayama)\, die den Geist beruhigen und innere Klarheit wecken.
