Because this process allows them to express themselves in a free way\, to communicate their emotions and feelings\, to explore their talents and specialties. \nMini Masters are a series of art workshops\, designed for small children with big ideas so they can explore art techniques in a fun playful manner and bring their inner artists into action with the use of conventional art material like paint and paper\, unconventional material such as dolls and toy cars or even natural material like leaves or branches. These elements of surprise make each workshop a unique experience\, giving the children the opportunity to be looking forward to something different to engage with at each and every workshop. \nThe main concept of Mini Masters is based on Process Art\, in which the goal is to explore and widen one’s artistic experience without focusing on the final product. In other words the process itself is considered an art form. This makes Process Art suitable for any age or sets of skills. \n This session is for kids who are from 5-8 years old. DESCRIPTION:  \n— Künstler / Artist — \n[tlpteam id=”25473″ title=”Rolando”]\n— English — \nEnjoy a Fun and Colorful Evening in Zurich!\nCreativity Workshop is a painting workshop series to introduce the basic techniques of Modern Abstract Painting. Abstract painting is a wonderful gateway for satisfying artistic expression. You can work with colors\, dots\, lines\, shapes and textures and create a personal visual rhythm in a painting but you can also feel free and work in the intuitive way\, gestural\, you also can explore all different kinds of techniques. \nThe workshop series include four sections: Grisaille\, Layering\, Blending and Sgraffito \, at each section you will learn a specific technique which will help you to achieve a new level for your abstract learning process …… on every second Monday\, Rolando\, our friend\, host and artist from Cuba is looking forward to assist you to enjoy this new creative experience. You don’t necessarily need to participate the workshops in sequence. Every workshop is an individual section. \nAbout Today’s workshop – Layering  \nLayering is a system for creating artistic paintings that involve the use of more than one coat of paint.\nTo capture rich depth and atmosphere in paintings\, it is common to use layering techniques\, applying one layer over another\, until the desired effect is achieved. The process of layering while painting makes it easy to add surface texture\, subtle color changes\, and tangible depth. \nThis event is limited to a maximum of 10 people per session to ensure a calm atmosphere and optimal guidance. \nFind more about Rolando’s work here. \nPlease note: This is not a typical “guided event”. There will be no step-by-step instructions for a particular painting. Instead\, Rolando will show you techniques and tricks and encourage you to paint intuitively and freely. Also\, this event takes place during our studio opening hours\, we might have some open painting guests as well at the other table. \n No prior Painting experience necessary\, we’ll provide options for all levels\n 1 canvas and all Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price. Our standard canvas size is 30x40cm\, but you can upgrade to another size (e.g. 40x50cm\, round 50cm\, square 40cm) for 5-12CHF\n Additional Canvas available at the studio (15-20Fr\, paint incl.)\n Language of Instruction: English & Español \nThis workshop is in English and Español.
