Die K\u00fcnstlerin Anastasia zeigt am LUCENT Workshop wie mit Kunstharz abstrakt gemalt werden kann. Kunstharz wird dabei mit verschiedenen Farbpigmenten und Alkohol Tinten eingefa\u0308rbt. Denn eigentlich ist Kunstharz ein transparentes Material, das sich durch das Ausha\u0308rten zu einem gla\u0308nzenden Material entwickelt, das eindeutig an Glas erinnert. Ab dem Moment, in dem der Ha\u0308rter im Verha\u0308ltnis 1:1 dem Kunstharz zugefu\u0308gt wird, verwandelt sich dieser innerhalb von 30 bis 45 Minuten zu einem vollkommen ausgeha\u0308rteten Material. Der Malprozess kann also einzig innerhalb dieser Zeitspanne geschehen und ist Materialbedingt zuna\u0308chst sehr dynamisch und wird gegen Ende sehr langsam und ruhig. Bei dieser Technik spielt die Farbsa\u0308ttigung vom Kunstharz an sich eine zentrale Rolle. Was bedeutet, es wird entschieden, wie stark durchsichtig und durchscheinend oder eher deckend der Kunstharz sein soll.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Dies wird mit der Menge an Farbpigmenten entschieden, die dem Kunstharz zum Einfa\u0308rben ohne Limite zugegeben wird. Alkoholtinte hingegen kann nur bis zu ho\u0308chstens 10% des Gesamtvolumens zugegeben werden, sonst wu\u0308rde der Kunstharz gummiartig werden statt auszuha\u0308rten. Sind mehrere farbige Kunstharze jeweils in Bechern entstanden, werden sie wie bei anderen \u201cFluid Art\u201d Techniken auf die weisse Malplatte gegossen. Durch das Kippen und die Verwendung eines Strohhalms oder eines Fo\u0308hns wird der Kunstharz auf der Oberfla\u0308che bewegt. Die wesentlichen Effekte entstehen vor allem zu Beginn, wenn der Kunstharz noch sehr flu\u0308ssig ist, weil dieser dann noch sehr leicht auf diverses Eingreifen reagiert. Durch die Verwendung eines kleinen Bunsenbrenners entstehen verschiedene faszinierende kreisfo\u0308rmige Strukturen, sie sich mit der Zeit noch ein wenig von selbst vera\u0308ndern ko\u0308nnen. Ganz am Ende wird die Oberfla\u0308che mit dem Bunsenbrenner versiegelt, indem sie so lange mit Hitze bearbeitet wird, bis sich die vielen winzigen Luftbla\u0308schen aus der Oberfla\u0308che herauslo\u0308sen. Durch die Hitze vera\u0308ndert sich der Kunstharz von milchig zu klar und gla\u0308nzend. Letztendlich entstehen zahlreiche transparent leuchtende Farbschichten, die ineinander und u\u0308bereinander liegen. Sie ko\u0308nnen noch so lange subtil vera\u0308ndert werden, bis sie sich nicht mehr bewegen lassen.<\/p>\n

\u2022 <\/span>Dies ist nicht ein klassischer PaintEvent fu\u0308r ein bestimmtes Bild mit Schritt fu\u0308r Schritt Anweisungen. Stattdessen wird Anastasia diese Technik so erkla\u0308ren, dass Sie zwei eigene Kreationen aus Kunstharz erstellen ko\u0308nnen und vor allem wa\u0308hrend dieses dynamischen und gleichzeitig sehr ruhigen Prozesses sehr pra\u0308sent und bei sich sein ko\u0308nnen.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Am Schluss hast du \u200bzwei Kunstwerke aus Kunstharz, \u200bdie u\u0308ber Nacht trocknen mu\u0308ssen.\u200b Dafu\u0308r bieten wir zwei Schachteln an, mit denen die Bilder direkt mit nach Hause genommen werden ko\u0308nnen. Diese mu\u0308ssen horizontal transportiert werden, ko\u0308nnen aber ohne Probleme mit in den O\u0308V genommen werden (vergleichbar mit 2 Pizza-Schachteln).<\/p>\n

\u2022\u00a0Material: Verschiedene Farbpigmente, verschiedene Kunstharz Einf\u00e4rbemittel von EliChem, Acrylfarben, Glitzer und Alkohol Tinten, zwei MDF Platten (23x23cm und 24x30cm) und MasterCast Kunstharz ungiftig frei von L\u00f6sungsmitteln f\u00fcr eine einfache und sichere Anwendung von EliChem erh\u00e4ltlich direkt \u00fcber unseren Online Shop<\/a>.<\/p>\n

\u2022 Wissenswertes: Beim Arbeiten mit Kunstharz werden immer Plastikhandschuhe gebraucht, damit die H\u00e4nde vom Abmessen bis zum fertigen Kunstwerk gesch\u00fctzt sind, ausgenommen wenn Hahrf\u00f6hn zum Manipulieren und Bunsenbrenner zum Versiegeln verwendet werden. Der Raum wird w\u00e4hrend dem Arbeiten mit Kunstharz immer gut durchl\u00fcftet. Eine Atemschutzmaske braucht es an diesem Kurs mit der gebrauchten kleinen Menge an Kunstharz im sehr grossr\u00e4umigen Atelier mit einer auf 10 Teilnehmer begrenzte Anzahl nicht. Sie w\u00e4re nur dann wichtig, wenn anschliessend mit ganz grossen Bildern zu Hause weiter experimentiert wird. Obwohl unser Resin zertifiziert ungiftig ist, raten wir schwangeren Frauen vorsichtshalber von der Teilnahme ab.<\/p>\n

\u2022Das Event wird auf Deutsch und Englisch geleitet. Instruktionen an die Gruppe werden meistens auf Englisch gegeben, individuelle Tipps gerne auch auf Deutsch.<\/p>\n

At the LUCENT Workshop the artist Anastasia\u200b shows how to paint with resin in an abstract way. The resin is colored with different color pigments and alcohol inks. Resin reminds of glass because it is a transparent material that gets shiny after the curing process. At first the resin is liquid and from the moment the hardener gets added to it in a 1:1 ratio it turns within 30 to 45 minutes into a completely solid and firm material. The painting process can therefore only take place within these 30 to 45 minutes. Due to the material the painting process is naturally at first very dynamic and becomes very and calm towards the end. When painting with resin, the color saturation plays a central role, which means the decision about how transparent and translucent or how covering the resin will get is decisive. This depends amount of color pigments added to the resin without any limit how saturated it gets in the end. Alcohol ink on the other hand can only be added up to a maximum of 10% of the total volume, otherwise the resin would become rubbery instead of hard.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Once several colored resins are created each in cups they are simply poured onto the white painting board the same as in other \u201cfluid art\u201d techniques. Then the tilting and using a straw or a hair dryer takes place to move around the resin on the surface. The essential effects happen mostly when the resin is still liquid, because then the resin still reacts easily to any interventions. By using a small heat gun various fascinating circular structures start to appear still changing a little by themselves. In the end the heat will seal the surface properly by making many tiny air bubbles vanish underneath the surface. From the heat the resin changes from being milky to being clear and shiny. So in the end what you see are numerous transparent and luminous layers of paint lying in and on top of each other. They can be changed subtly until they simply will stop moving.<\/p>\n

\u2022 This is not a classic PaintEvent for a specific painting with step by step instructions. Instead, Anastasia will explain this technique so you can create two of your own creations from resin and mainly be completely present during this dynamic and in the same time very calm process.<\/p>\n

\u2022 In the end you have two paintings made of resin that have to dry overnight.\u200b \u200bWe will provide boxes so you can take your paintings home right away. They need to be transported horizontally but it should be no problem to take them on public transport.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Material: different color pigments, various resin colorants from EliChem, acrylic paints, glitter and alcohol inks, two MDF plates (23x23cm and 24x30cm) and MasterCast resin non-toxic free from solvents for easy and safe application by EliChem directly available at our <\/span>Online Shop<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2022 Good to know: Plastic gloves are always needed when working with resin from measuring to finished paintings to protect hands, except when using hair dryers for manipulation and heat guns for sealing the paintings. The room is always well ventilated while working with resin. A breathing mask is not needed at this workshop based on the small amount of resin used in our very spacious studio with a number limited to 10 participants. It would only be of importance if you would further experiment with very large paintings at home. Although the resin we use is certified non-toxic, out of extra caution, we do not recommend this workshop for pregnant women.<\/span><\/p>\n
