Resin Workshop: Geodes

Explore our captivating range of shimmering mica, resin pigments, eco-friendly glitter, crystals, rocks, nuggets, flakes and more. In fact, the hardest part of the day will be choosing which of these many textures to choose, but don’t worry – we will be there, every step of the way (encouraging you to add more glitter!)

Indulge your artistic desires with our mesmerizing Resin Geode Art Workshop. Fun, fabulous and totally addictive, you’ll make 2 pieces of agate inspired wall art with us and, what’s more, it’s perfect for beginners and those looking to explore adding texture to their resin art.

Wonderfully therapeutic and oh so much fun, our resin geode workshop offers a creative opportunity for all to create abstract pieces of art topped with handfuls of luscious textures.

You have the option of taking your masterpieces home with you or we can package and ship them to you a few days later.

What you will learn:

• Create stunning geode art using a variety of dynamic pouring techniques
• Measure, mix and add colour to your resin
• Create uniformed free pours
• Manipulate the resin to create different visual effects, including using floating metal techniques
• Encourage pigment interactions such as cell formation
• Add oodles of embellishments such as crustal chippings, nuggets and flakes
• Achieve a perfect finish, removing any bubbles that appear
• Use tips, trade secrets and techniques
• Make use of leftover resin

 No Prior Painting Experience Necessary. If it’s your very first time painting, you might wanna calculate a bit more time to finish the painting. Also, we recommend to skip a detail or two and/or call for assistance when you need!  Step by Step Instructions, but you are always welcome to paint something else! 2 wooden boards (23x23cm, 0.5cm thick) and all Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price  Medium: Premium alcohol ink and resin materials .  Language of Instruction: English  Duration of the Event: ca 3hrs

Important: For optimal drying process and avoiding any changes to your painting, we recommend that you leave your artwork in the studio at least overnight and pick it up at later. Alternatively we can also pack it and ship it to you for an additional 15 CHF per parcel (payable at the workshop in cash or TWINT). If you want to take your artwork home right away, that’s definitely also possible but „at your own risk“ (needs to be transported as horizontal as possible).

Please note: This event will take place only if at least 5 people sign up 48hrs before the event. In case of cancellation, guests with a ticket will get a notification via email. The ticket can be refunded completely or rescheduled.
