Textured Art Workshop: Embrace the Arcs (2 sessions)

Unlock the secrets of textured art with our specialized workshop, inspired by the serene beauty of arcing forms. Whether you’re new to the art scene or an experienced artist, this session offers a perfect opportunity to hone your skills. Join us in this immersive workshop and let’s create some touchable, tangible art together!

What to Expect:

Session 1 (on 2nd April 19:00-21:30):

1. Arcing Techniques: Learn to create soothing, repetitive arcs that add rhythm to your artwork.
2. Texture Exploration: Master the application of structure paste for dynamic textures.
3. Composition Balance: Understand how to balance elements for a cohesive minimalist design.
4. Personal Artistic Style: Develop your own artistic voice within the minimalist aesthetic.

Session 2 (at Open Painting):

Since we need to leave the paste to full dry, we will do the coloring part at a different day. you can come to our open painting session for free to finish the coloring, our open painting hosts can help you to gain insights into selecting and blending colors for visual impact. You can come on normally:

• Wednesdays: 13:00-16:00
• Thursdays: 19:00-21:30
• Saturdays: 10:00-13:00

• No prior experience necessary

• All Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price.

• Material: 1 canvas ( 40x50cm),  all the materials included: different sizes of palette knifes, acrylic paint and paste etc.

• Important: For optimal drying process and avoiding any changes to your painting, we recommend that you leave your artwork in the studio at least overnight and pick it up at later. Alternatively we can also pack it and ship it to you for an additional 15 CHF per parcel (payable at the workshop in cash or TWINT). If you want to take your artwork home right away, that’s definitely also possible but „at your own risk“ (needs to be transported as horizontal as possible).
