Enjoy a Fun and Relaxing PaintEvent in Zurich!

We are thrilled to announce a special workshop with Olivia Bonetti! Olivia started to study traditional Chinese painting at a very early age, which lasted for 8 years. Her favorite element to experiment with is combining Chinese painting and watercolor together. Her paintings featured a wide range of subjects such as flowers, plants, birds, animals, mountains, and much more.

At this Saturday afternoon workshop, Olivia will lead us to embrace the characters of watercolor. All the reasons watercolors are difficult are all the same reasons that make it elusive, beautiful, and make people to explore them more.

The goal of this workshop is to master the basic skills to paint realistic watercolor flowers, which will insure you to paint whatever flowers you like in the future without external guide. In this course you will learn:

• Basic tracing and drawing skills

• The right way to use the brushes and color palette

• Explore dry versus wet

• Work from light to dark

• Stock up on paper towels

• Blend colors into one another

• Get the textures right 

• Layer your colors

• Color mixing recipes

• Basic mixed media skills

No Prior Painting Experience Necessary Frist time or frequent painters – all kind of questions are more than welcome! Our host will be happy to assist and chat. Inspiration is all around 🙂 All Painting Materials Provided and Included in the Ticket Price. The original size is A4. If you prefer, we have A5, A6 and A3 as well. Please note that prepared drawings will be available for A4 only. Medium: Aquarell on Watercolor paper (200-300g/m2, Canson or Fabriano) if you finish earlier: why not paint a 2nd one? no extra cost 🙂 You like the subject of the painting but not the colors? No problem, we always keep all colors ready. Our host is happy to show you how to create your desired color tone! Language of Instruction: English Tea & Coffee included. BYOB („Bring your own beverages“ or „Bring your own Brunch“) if you would like to enjoy a beer or wine while painting. Or, treat yourself with a fancy drink from our lovely neighbours the Bederbar!

Please note: This event will take place only if at least 4 people sign up 48hrs before the event. In case of cancellation, guests with a ticket will get a notification via email. The ticket can be refunded completely or rescheduled.

Bei einem PaintEvent erstellst du mir der Unterstützung von lokalen Künstlern dein eigenes Kunstwerk, das du am Ende des Abends mit nach Hause nimmst. Im Vordergrund stehen Entspannung, die Freude am Malen und die Entfaltung deiner Kreativität.

Das Event ist für jeden geeignet – es werden keine Vorkenntnisse vorausgesetzt Hast du noch nie gemalt? Malst du die ganze Zeit? Fragen und Ideen zum Austausch sind herzlich willkommen! Inspiration findest du links und rechts 🙂 Alle Malmaterialien werden von uns bereitgestellt und sind im Preis inbegriffen. Die Grösse vom Originalbild ist A4. Gerne kannst du A6-A3 kostenfrei beziehen! Bitte beachte, dass die vorbereitete Zeichnungen nur als A4 gibt. Medium: Aquarell auf Aquarellpapier (200-300g/m2, Canson oder Fabriano) Für die schnelleren unter uns: Male noch ein zweites Bild! (ohne extra Kosten:)) Das Event wird auf Englisch geleitet. Du magst das Motiv aber die Farben gefallen dir nicht? Kein Problem, wir haben immer viele Farben im Studio und zeigen dir, wie dein gewünschter Farbton gemischt werden kann! Gratis Tee & Kaffee. Bitte beachte, dass wir dieses Event nur durchführen, wenn sich mindestens 4 Personen spätestens 48h vor dem Event online angemeldet haben. Im Falle einer Absage werden die Gäste mit einem Ticket per Mail informiert und das Ticket wird nach Wunsch entweder umgebucht oder komplett zurückerstattet.
