Pottery Painting in the Heart of Zurich
Discover Zurich’s most relaxed creative experience. At our studio, you can paint your own ceramic piece in a cozy and inspiring setting. Choose from mugs, bowls, plates, and more, then bring them to life with your own design. We provide everything you need — from brushes to colors to a laid-back atmosphere. Drop in anytime during our opening hours — but to be sure of a spot, we recommend reserving in advance!
Fun for Families, Friends & Solo Creatives
In our Pottery Painting sessions, you’ll pick your ceramic piece right here on site and paint whatever design or motif you like. It is perfect for a solo me-time, a fun date, or a chill group hang. Our lovely host will give you a quick intro with all the basics – and assist you when you need during the process . Your painted piece(s) will be fired and ready for pickup in 1–2 weeks.
Bar & Snacks
At our bar, you’ll find delicious hot and cold drinks along with small snacks to complement your creative experience. Treat yourself to a break: whether it’s a flat white, a chilled mate, or a good glass of wine – you can relax, unwind, and feel completely at ease with us.
Prices
For pottery painting the price consists of a service fee (per visit) plus the item price for the pieces you choose to paint:
Service-Fee*: 30 CHF
+ Materials: e.g. a small cup from 12 CHF
*Includes studio use, firing, and storage. For children/students/pensioners/disability: service fee CHF 25
Opening Hours and Reservation
We recommend making a reservation, but we also try to keep some spots available for spontaneous walk-ins. With a reservation, we guarantee you a 2-hour time slot. If there’s space available, you’re welcome to stay longer (until the end of the session).

Location
Our bright and spacious studio is located just a few minutes from Zurich Main Station at Limmatstrasse 73 (Tram stop: Museum für Gestaltung).

About PaintEvents
PaintEvents was founded in 2016 in Zurich, born from a dream to make painting a more accessible leisure activity. Our journey began with unique, pop-up events in various external venues like restaurants and yoga studios. It wasn’t long before we opened our very first studio in Zurich Enge, a place we called home for nearly six years. Then, in November 2023, we moved to our current location at Limmatstrasse 73, a stunning and luminous space where we continue to unfold and bring our vision to life.
