Infos zu Getränken im Malstudio „Die Staffelei“
Dear Painters, starting from April 2018 we are making a few changes regarding what drinks we are offering during events at our studio “Die Staffelei” (Rieterstrasse 30, Zurich). In the past events at our studio always included a glass of wine or a beer. As far as we were informed, this was legally OK as long as we don’t sell drinks on the spot but rather include them in the ticket price. However, many guests are keen on a second (or third) drink, which unfortunately puts us in a situation which requires a proper bar license. After evaluating this situation, we’ve come to the conclusion that this is currently not worth the administrative and financial effort.
Our new drinks policy for events in our studio is therefore as follows:
You are more than welcome to bring your own drinks to events at our studio (BYOB = bring your own beverages). There is Migrolino 100 m away from the studio that has a good selection of wines, beers and soft drinks. It’s open Mo-Sa till late.We provide (wine) glasses, openers, etc for your useWater, tea & coffee is still available at the studio and included in the ticket price
2 minute walk to Migrolino
PaintEvents in bars or restaurants still include a drink and sometimes also a snack or a meal (see the respective event description).
